Although it is plastic, it is of the sturdy sort. Finish is good. Segmented legs allow for three different height settings. It is large, so would not work well on a small desk or surface. Also, I don’t think it would work well for a heavy monitor if anyone still has CRT kicking around. Great value and got me up and running for my work from home setup.

Sturdy Stand
