This game is wonderful for kids because improves the level of thinking

If you are looking to get your creative side going this is a fun way to do it My son loves creating his world.

Just a fun game to play with the family. Daughter loves this game and able to play online with her friends.

This game's definitely an acquired taste. If you prefer something short and to the point, skip it. Obviously, any amount of research into this game should address that question. It's like the Simpsons or Farmville. You spend time finding one resource in another to create another resource in order to create another resource, etc... The circular nature of upgrading/improving your character's abilities and creations can lead to a sense that you're going nowhere because it never ends. There is no endpoint or 100% completion in this game, unless of course you're going for acheivements. The relaxing music really immerses you into the game's world, and the old school block graphics are sort of a fun little throwback to simpler times. Basically, if you don't like having something that never ends and takes up a lot of time/get's addictive, skip Minecraft. However, if you're in the mood to mine, create, and/or just have something to do while you listen to podcasts/music, and you enjoy the never ending nature of building/creating, pick up Minecraft. The awards it won speak volumes about how it stands out among other games of similar nature.

The kids, as well as myself, have enjoyed this game. Your creativity is tested and your learning at the same time!! Very addicting but .a whole lotta fun!

As if you don't know enough about it, we needed a disc version for some of our youngest children to play in a toy room on an old machine. It's fun for them.

I got this for my son for his birthday. He already had a version of it for his tablet. He loves it! He plays it almost every chance he can get. It lets him be creative, which is great. It also allows for up to 4 players, to we get to be in on the fun with him, which he really enjoys.

This game is amazing for the mine craft enthusiast. My nephew is 8 and he spends hours on this game.
