I love anything creative and fun and this game doesn't fall short of that. Before I purchased the game I was skeptical because I didn't think I would enjoy playing it. I have had it for a few weeks now and I can't stop playing and building! It's fun to play with friends too and build things in creative mode.

A real interesting game to play. Really appreciate the way you can build things and use your imagination. The graphics are great on the xbox1. You can build almost anything you want too. I've played it and you get caught up in the game and lose track of time if your not careful. The game is a fun and clean.

I have seen my son ( 16 years old) play this and was amazed at all the detail. Everything is in cubes and you build stuff. He showed me his house, garden, pond where he was fishing, his sheep and the trees around his place. His friend plays on line with him building this place. He enjoys it a lot.

As a child you played with wooden or plastic blocks to create what you saw in the world around you — a house, a car, a bridge, a cement mixer. In high school, you built lamps, signs and more in shop class. You've also constructed full worlds, filled with realistic people simulating real life. Now, you can go back to your childlike roots and build with blocks again — but this time they're virtual blocks, and you can use them to create vibrant, 3D worlds that are filled with adventure and the magic of imagination. Get ready to build whatever pops into your mind when you jump into the 3D, eight-bit worlds of Minecraft. Brought to life on your Xbox One, Minecraft lets you flex and hone your creative might as you construct literally any and everything you can think of. Grab your controller and start stacking virtual blocks to build the open-world of your dreams. Just make sure to make a shelter before nightfall, as that's when the monsters emerge. Are you ready to construct the world of your dreams in nostalgic, eight-bit fashion?

My son is 10 and has been a fan of it for several years now. All of his friends play it and we've spent many a nights discussing this game. We limit his game time, but he makes full advantage of his weekend gaming. I think its a very creative and interesting game that allows for xbox live.

I personally don't get the game. However my 11 year old daughter loves it. She plays it when she is allowed screen time. She loves creating buildings and doing whatever you do in this game. Like I said, I don't get it, but most every kid out there will.

Our seven year old had played Minecraft on computer as well as on our smart phones, so he was excited to get to play on the Big Screen. Unfortunately, you need to buy a subscription to Xbox Live in order to connect to servers and play with others on-line, unlike the computer/smart phone versions (where you pay for the game and you get access to the servers).

Got this for christmas for the kids and they love to play it. We run it for two users and the TV will split screen one over the other. Kids have a PC version of the game, as well as a tablet "light" version and this one seems to be the one they choose to play the most right now.

My 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son are obsessed with this game. They love the game I have no idea why, they just do. I mean the graphics remind me of the 1990's game but they love it. Since they love it so much I would recommend it to kids in that age group.

I don't know what else to say it's minecraft and is known basically world wide so you'll either like it or hate it and think it's not any good but I think it's amazing so if you have never heard of it or played it yet then this probably won't make you like it any more.

Parents need to know that Minecraft is an open-ended, exploration and creation focused environment. One of the best-selling, independently developed and published video games, We bought this for our 8 year old. Players can create items and buildings from scratch using materials they harvest from the world around them. There is no story, but players will encounter aggressive monsters they can fight using swords and bows. Graphics are extremely blocky, and there is no blood or gore, but the creatures can be a bit scary when they moan or appear seemingly out of nowhere. Parents should note that this game has a thriving online community hosted by private, non-moderated servers. This means players could encounter offensive content in the form of profane text messages and suggestively shaped player-created structures, although players don't have to engage in online activity to enjoy the game.

I purchased Minecraft: Xbox One Edition for my 7 year old Grandson. He has been playing with Minecraft off and on for the past month or two and has enjoyed playing it. He is still learning his way through Minecraft and is having fun with it.
