Worked like a champ, unlike Surface Pro 3!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike the Surface Pro 3 which had a dysfunctional and non-fixable wireless adapter out of the box, this product worked great. I am DISAPPOINTED in the fact that Microsoft doesn't provide this adapter with the Surface Pro!! Had no way to even connect to the internet to see if the problem was due to updates. Keyboard stopped working also but I was able to get updates, when finally connected to internet by this ethernet adapter, that fixed that issue. Not pleased with Microsoft! All is well now though with new replacement Surface Pro 3. Headache.

Exactly what I needed

Either the drivers were built into the operating system, or my Surface Pro was connected to WiFi so it downloaded the required drivers when I plugged this adapter in.

Quick & easy wired LAN option

Easy plug & play. Fast connection. No issues. The on-sale BestBuy price was better than anywhere I had seen as well. No regrets

There were times when I was setting up a new router or modem, and the only way to set it up was to connect it with a hardline.

So this adapter is very useful when I need to connect my laptop directly to the server at work. Once I set the IP address, its good to go. Very happy with this purchase.

Good interface cable to connect to my network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to connect my Surface Pro 4 to my home network. No RJ45 connection on the Surface Pro 4. This solves the issue perfectly. Just attach one end to the Hub and the other end to CAT6 network cable.
