My new laptop did not have an Ethernet port and some locations where I work don't have wireless. This works great when you need a hardwired network connection.

I needed this for work because we don't have wireless internet. It does what it is suppose to. Works well and I haven't had any issues.

It does what it should, but is honestly overpriced in my opinion. Microsoft kind of has you against the wall with these dongles. You have no choice, but for a business user they are a must, so......

I've tried to save money by buying cheap generic ones and have nothing but problems, got the good ones from Microsoft and all is well!

This is an excellent network adapter for my Surface Pro 4. I bought it as an open-box buy and have not had any trouble with it.

This eithernet extension works great. Haven't had any trouble downloading items to the Surface Pro.

All I had to do was connect it to the laptop and the system automatically recognized the connection.
