I'm really enjoying this transporter it has long run time on a full battery and it doesn't take a long time to recharge. It has a safe comfortable ride on or off road.

so much fanny!!! my kids have a lot fanny time with this segway scooter ,i really recommend this product to friends.

This was the hit of all the Christmas presents. Kid loves it! No issues with charging as it will automatically shut off once full charge is reached.

The Segway mini has come in very handy when needing travel light.

Bought this as a gift for my son. This was the best answer to a gift that's different than the normal video game.

I would have given it 5 stars but had to buy handle bars and kick stand. Some places will not allow you to ride it without it.

I would love a longer battery life and the ability to go just a lil faster

id saved it xmas for my kids,,when we opened it, thing did NOT even turn on, I can not return it coz its already been 30 days from the date of purchase. called Segway ,voicemail came up and they said they are close til Wed the 27th,. waste of time and lots of money.

miniPro cannot sustain the stated top speed of 10 MPH because as soon as you reach it, the auto braking slows you down to 7-8 MPH. It is nearly impossible to maintain 10 MPH.

I ordered it for my son who is 12 and, of course, had to test it out. I took it out of the box and easily assembled the two parts. I downloaded the app and turned it on. The ninebot came to life with lights and beeps and I got on it (I am a spry 50 year old with not much fear). I assumed I would fall off and possibly break a hip. I stepped onto the Segway and did a little back and forth but quickly became accustomed to it. Now here is where I made a mistake. I didn't start the app and I didn't do the instructional riding course. Don't be like me! I took it outside and attempted to ride it, it would speed up and then slow way down which made it very difficult to ride. I tried several times and I thought it was not working properly or was too hard to ride. I took it back inside and then started the app. It makes you go through a short tutorial explaining the dos and don'ts and basic safety and operations of the Ninebot. After that it makes you perform several basic operations on the scooter (turns, forward, backward, rotate right and left 360 degrees) and then, lo and behold, it unlocks one level on the speed and you can ride faster. Then after you ride 2 kilometers it unlocks the full speed. It literally took about 20 minutes to go from never having ridden one of these to riding comfortably and doing all sorts of turns and spins. The only consistent problem is riding backwards and then turning sharply which threw me off a couple of times. I had to give it to my son for his birthday and I was concerned because he is not athletic or particularly coordinated. He too, mastered the thing in about twenty minutes. He experienced the same problem backing and turning quickly and getting thrown off but other than that he got it down very quickly. The Ninebot app has several cool options including limiting the speed, the aforementioned riding tutorial (which should be given to every first time rider), light control, speed control and, one of the best things...remote control. You can have your robot come to you so you never need to walk again (be careful on the remote control, the vehicle doesn't stop quickly and you may run it into furniture and then have your wife tell you "That's why we don't play with robot scooters in the house." In conclusion, the Segway Ninebot is well worth the money and easy to use. It almost seems intuitive and riding it is the closest thing to hovering I have ever experienced. If you can afford it (and Best Buy Card has 18 month interest free payments on it) get one, heck get two. That's what I am thinking about doing.

Bad experience, worked for 24hrs and the control board failed.

I order white color and it arrived defective. The self balancer system was bad. When you stand on it and ride like 3 miles per hour speed, the ninebot mini pro lean too much forward and backward and make you feel like you are going to fall and when you get off, it drops the center bar even it is powered on. I knew this is defective. This never happened with my 2 other ninebots mini pro. So I took it to bestbuy store and they had black color available so I replaced it. Works like a champ now. No problems. This is the third ninebot pro we have in the family. All three ninebots mini pro works perfectly. This electronic machine is so easy to ride and does not require learning curve. It is much better then dangerous hoverboards.
