Customers are saying
Customers love the SURGE SERIES Wireless Smart DLP Projector's picture quality and portability, frequently praising its ease of setup and compact size. However, some users point out that the battery life could be improved, and the fan noise is noticeable at times. The projector's brightness and Bluetooth connectivity are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects. While some minor sound issues were reported, the overall user experience appears to be positive.

Versatile and high quality image Miroir M300A
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this product. The wifi and bluetooth features are a definitive plus (in combination with cloud-based file access and wireless external speaker pairing). Set up is a snap and very user friendly. The image is really quite exceptional and comparable to what one gets with a full size projector, both in terms of image resolution and size. I use it mostly for either tv watching (with a tv decoder link), MSOffice presentations, or art file viewing, and the results are truly impressive. The ability to use without cable attachments is quite awesome, however I did find that the HDMI cable hook-up to my IPAD yields a better image resolution for still image file viewing and also allows one to use the zoom feature that comes with the latter (not otherwise possible with the remote device that comes with the projector). Other product reviews that I consulted alluded to the whiny sound of the fan as a negative. While initially put off by this as well, this can be easily offset by either using (noise cancelling) headphones for film viewing or connecting to an external speaker and positioning oneself at a comfortable distance from the device. The noise level of the fan is not really all that loud, only that it has a high pitch whine which can be initially off putting but eventually one gets used to it by adjusting per the description above... The brightness is more than acceptable provided that the ambient light level in the area of projection is medium low to low. But clearly, the versality of good image resolution, combined with wireless use and bluetooth, makes for a very useful device for virtually any kind of video based use. Very happy with this little new toy!!...

Doesn’t work with iOS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything says it’s iOS compatible until you actually open the box and read the instructions. That’s when you find out that the iOS compatibility is only that you can view what is on the camera roll. You cannot see anything on TV app nor can you mirror the screen. Now I have a $400 brick that I can’t return because it was purchased as a Christmas present, then family emergencies happened, so it’s been months and I can’t return it.

Didn't work as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a Christmas gift for my son. He didn't get a chance to hook it up until the night before the Super Bowl as it was going to be used for the Super Bowl party, but the first time hooking it up he found out the HDMI port was broken. Tried to take it back to Best Buy for an even exchange but was told it was too late and would have to work the issue through manufacturer so no luck using it to watch the Super Bowl.

Time consuming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture and sound quality. Took forever to get set-up for multiple uses, especially difficult for small presentations. I thought it would be great to use to with Dropbox to have my files easily accessible to project anywhere, but that wasn't the case. Couldn't easily download a pdf viewer and took forever to open a doc in Word. Strong network connection, that wasn't it. It worked nicely to only project with HDMI to desktop, but the what's the point of portable and paying that much. YouTube worked nice and I assume it would be good for Netflix. I just didn't think it was worth the price. The charging port was loose, customer service wasn't very helpful. Too much of a hassle for the price. I returned it after all the time went in to logging into my apps.

small with big problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector is supposed to be able to preform wireless but only last 30 minutes without being plugged in. The fan is louder than the actual sound that comes out of it. So, you will need additional speakers to hear anything that you're playing on it. You cant use the remote to power the projector on or off, you also cant use the arrows to navigate yourself around some pages like on Netflix, Hulu, or even Youtube you have to use the "mouse" to do so and you can't stop a video and resume it without having it buffer for over 30 minutes and when it starts to play the picture is frozen but the sound keeps going so, I would have to restart the whole video. I thought maybe the apps or even projector needed a system update but I've updated everything time after time and nothing would help it. If you're looking for an alternative for a TV or even just to use for special occasions, I would just save more money on top of the 400 you want to spend on this, and get a nice TV or a better projector. I don't think this is worth your hard earned money and comes with more problems than its worth.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything says it’s ios compatible until you actually get it and read the instructions. The compatibility is that you can see the camera roll. That’s it. Not the TV app or mirroring.
