This makes the best soup in the world. FAST!!!!!!!

Always been afraid of cooking with these. Tried it out for first time after getting tired of long cook time for cooking oxtail a and other meat dishes. This brand received rave reviews, and did not disappoint. Cooking guide helped with eliminating the guessing time for first timers like myself, and it worked like a charm. I'm now a believe and love it!!!

After first use to boil water for test, there are 2 inches high black ink on the bottom circle, couldn't wash away, I don't know why ? Even it doesn't influence to use, the dark color is real bother me. I thought probably because this is a cheaper pressure cooker.

I like almost everything about this pressure cooker-- it is so nice to be able to whip up homemade soup from whatever I have lying around and have it ready really quickly. So I took one star off because it might have a slight problem with tomato sauce leaching from the aluminum. I'm not sure if it really did that or I am just tasting in because I read it was possible. I still like the slow cooker for some things (like a pot-roast for tomorrow), but for quick delicious meals this thing is tops. If you are trying to decide between this and an electric one I suggest this-- it won't breakdown and once you get used to the pressure part it is really easy to use.

If you have never used a pressure cooker, I think it is time for you to try. Also, remember never place in dish washer because it will take the shine off of your polish. But, even so it still works great. With or without a shine.

Best price for this kind of excellent performance cooker. No complain till now. I cook beans, meat and some other stuffs here. I have cooked about 20 times till now. Excellent performance.

This is a nice size and great price so I gave it as a gift to someone who needed a pressure cooker. Unfortunately the description did not state that this one is not for use on flat cook surface ranges. Was glad there was a Best Buy store local to the recipient. They accepted the return immediately, much easier than dealing with on line store returns. Recommend for those with gas or electric coils on their stove.

This recipient was disappointed to read in the directions that this product can not be used on their flat top cooking range. After hearing this I reviewed the product description about this limitation, no mention that I can find. When I looked for alternates none of the other pressure cookers confirmed if they are suitable for flat surface either. Suggest Best Buy update their product description to document suitability for cooking surfaces. Would recommend to friends who have the right type of stove!

Because I love to save on utilities bills, I got this pressure cooker, which I know, It cook foods in 1/2 the time.

This turned out to be a good pressure cooker. I was worried it was not going to be very good because of the price but thankfully I was wrong.

I grew up with my mom cooking in one of these. Speeds up the cooking process incredibly.

I have been using pressure cooker since long time but my old presuree cooker got bad so I got this new one. It's great however I wish the pressure cooker will whistle loud so as to let me know when the food is cooked. Normally the other pressure cooker whistles loudly which is a indication of the food cooked but for this one you have to monitor the time which is a little inconvenient. Other than than i like it as it can cook a lot at a time.

I've had my Mirro 6 1/2 qt pressure cooker for 20 years and it worked as good as a new one till last week . I lost the pressure button somewhere in the dishwasher. Never did find it . Now I'm ordering another Mirro 6 1/2 pt pressure cooker.. The Insta pot just doesn't take the place of a Mirro pressure cooker. Love it .
