Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a direct sequel to the 2009 EA/Dice game Mirror's Edge. The first game was incredibly smooth and innovative, and while Catalyst is an overall enjoyable game, it feels like somewhat of a disappointment after what the first game accomplished. Still for the price, it's well worth playing.

Ibought this game for my daughter. She loved the original and played it for weeks. Mirror's Edge is very short and repetitive. My daughter completed it in a few days. There is probably more stuff to do but she lost interest. We will be trading it in. Buy it if it is 30 dollars or less.

I'll keep this review brief: -The old mechanics are all there and feel much smoother. Although some abilities are behind an unlock system, you unlock them fairly quickly. -Story (so far) has been pretty solid. -Open world setting is done really well. It can be pretty satisfying running along the rooftops to similar and new locations, embracing the vibrant atmosphere. -Side missions are in abundance. These require more skill and finesse (and multiple tries) before nailing down a solid run, which is always satisfying.

My son like it and he has enjoyed the graphics. He is 11 and it seems age appropriate

The story is well done, the Parkour is smooth. I recommend this for any age above 10 years old if knowledgeable. After you beat the campaign it can become repetitive.

This games takes the fun from the first one and it continues in a big open world environment. Very fun and it's played out in a big cool looking city.

This was an impulse buy based on price. The game play is just ok.

It's a fun game so far. Right now I am currently stuck on level 7 so it is a little frustrating but, I know I will get through it. I know I can do it. But besides that it has really nice graphics and the addition of the swing rope is a fun new feature in game-play!

I picked this up on sale and I haven't really played it yet. I did play through the first of the series on my XBox 360 so I am looking forward to trying this sequel out as well.

I love the graphics and gameplay. Great side missions and story line. I love the open world in this one.

I love the Mirrors Edge game series the story line is pretty much the same as the first game controls are much easier to use and the story is more in depth. I wold recommend this game to any Mirror Edge fan or any fan of FPS.

I really enjoyed this sequel to the original game. It had been some time since playing the original game. Catalyst is lots of fun. It took a little time getting used to the controls. Excellent graphics and story. Fun Time!

Bought this for my daughter. She likes the game, but still getting use to the required skill of wall walking/running. Gameplay is from 1st person perspective so if that's not something you like it's probably not for you.

You will love this game if you love the original!!

Bought several months after release. If you enjoyed the first game, this one will likely satisfy. Would have been disappointed to purchase if I had paid full $60 price (bought for ~$15 on sale).

a great first person parkour game. Never played the original so it was def a treat.

I have no good review yet, because my daughter has been anticipating this and I've purchased it for Christmas for her. I will have to modify later.

Great first person fast paced action. Good melee combat. Decent story.
