Initially we really enjoyed the quality of this product. Then we started to notice a burning hair smell and the lower wheels started to squeak after a month. Then the vacuum completely stopped working 61 days later (frustrating it was outside of the return policy). I would be very cautious about purchasing this product and would buy the replacement plan if it breaks.

I’m pretty disappointed with this vacuum and I usually love Shark products. The biggest problem is that it’s not self propelled so for an old lady like me, my shoulder was pretty sore after vacuuming. Also, my previous model had a light when I used the wand-this one doesn’t. It picks up ok, I would have returned it but I missed the return window. Now I’m stuck with it.

This vacuum would otherwise be the best one we've bought (with shedding pets and all) we've been through a lot of vacuums. Unfortunately, it randomly will not turn on or show any power whatsoever. We've tried many different outlets, cleaned it, the whole 9 yards, and nothing. A few days later, it turns on like nothing was ever wrong. This has happened twice now. Far too expensive for something you cannot use at all times.

After only having this vacuum for around six months it gave out on me started making weird sounds and i had to return it.

Power button doesn't work.

I was really excited about this machine as all the reviews were great. I traveled 100 miles round trip to pick this vacuum up. When I got it home and put it together and pushed the start button it wouldn't start. Tried a different outlet, wouldn't start.
Brought it back to the store, for a exchange and had the associate open the new vacuum box to make sure it would run, Nope. Same problem. Wouldn't run. No power at all. $500.00 piece of junk. Who ever is in charge of Quality control needs to be re trained. No one wants to pay this kind of money for something that won't even turn on. SHARK, are you listening?

Had this for just over a year now and the fins on the brush are worn out/busted. Shark does not sell replacements for this part and wants me buy an entire vacuum "head" for over $100. Will definitely not be buying a shark again.

Could be made with less plastic materials. For the price, quality could've been better. Does pick up very well tho. My old one lasted 6yrs, I know this one wont.

Worst shark vacuum I have purchase. For the price is retail I expected something like the old sharks but better!
After 4 months of using this, the soft brush stop rolling and because of it, it doesn’t have sufficient suction. Try calling because of the warranty but I have to pay $150 “because it only covers the motor NOT the parts” even tough it was bought back in February

It all seemed great and we were so excited to use it. We got it put it all together and it worked great. It all came to and end when we tried to empty the canister and put it back on the vacuum. It would not click back into place. No matter how hard we tried it would not click into place again. It had to go back.

Absolutely love this vacuum! It replaced my prior Shark lift away love the pet brush works great on removing Chihuahua fur from my sofa! I love all the controls on the handle making it so much easier to change from carpet to bare floors.
