One of the best newer sci-fi films I’ve seen, haven’t checked out the UHD, but I expect it to be fantastic. This was well priced ($10), sadly the digital release expired.

I watched this movie when it first came out and thought it was very well done. Interesting story that is well acted and really makes you think. I am glad that I now have it in 4K.

A thoughtful take on how far advanced can androids become. Not for viewers expecting a lot of action except for near the end. Good special effects and the cast performed well to compliment the plot. The Blu-ray has excellent video & audio quality.

Great movie that will make you think about the future and the humanoid robots with AI that can challenge any human being. Human will have a moral dilemma when dealing these robots that will look and thing just like real humans-even better

Great flick! Was on the fence when this came to the theater so I waited to rent this. Wow, what a great story! Had me guessing incorrectly often haha. Special FX are top notch as well, they did a great job and the acting is excellent. Highly recommend!

Si-Fi plot for the ages I never saw it coming and the 4K set it all the way off just a great Si-Fi movie and I'm not a Si-Fi fan so that should say it all.

A slow thriller that gets you asking all the right question. Never has a movie about an AI felt so human. You think you will know the ending, but I doubt you will. A fun, smart, thriller that is bold enough to act at a slow pace. A refreshing change for sure.

Just when you thought you've seen all the possible stories about artificial intelligence, come this fresh new look at what it means to be human from an AI perspective. Strong references to the Blade Runner Theme... am I a replicant? Who knows...

Originally I wasn't interested in watching this movie. However, I found it on sale and thought "with Poe and GEN Hux in it, how bad can it be"? Well, the middle is very slow, but it's well worth it if you can stick it out to the end.

This move is well worth watching as it is well written and has great special effects where it is needed. The plot gets rolled up at the end and has a twist that is kind of expected but you really aren't sure until the end. Well worth watching.

An upscaled-to-4K release. Nevertheless, the results are quite impressive. Previous 1080p transfer stands apart as one of the finer on its format, yielding remarkable balance of detail and color with outstanding clarity as the hallmarks

This movie takes a look into human nature and whether or not androids can behave like humans. The movie really lets you decided at the end if androids do or not not behave like human beings. It's well worth watching a time or two.

This along with Edge of Tomorrow almost tie for best scifi film making in a long time. The story, acting, and effects are absolutely amazing. The special features are wonderful and give a great inside perspective into its making. The full HD is stunning!

Ex Machina its really slow and they could have done alot more with the story but if its a rainy day its worth a watch

After hearing from a few friends how good this movie was and seeing ANNIHILATION twice in the theater from the same director, i made a point to get this when i found it in 4K and i am so glad I did because this movie was AMAZING!

I went into this one not knowing what to expect but I was very happy with what I watched by the end. A great Sci Fi movie with twists and turns that will keep you glued to the screen. Plus you get to see Poe Dameron's (O. Isaac) epic dance moves.

This film contains questions to those of the future. Will we be able to acclimate to machines as if they are humans or will the machines verify us as their creators? Are we already living among machines and don't even have a clue? The questions are endless...

This is an amazing Sci Fi movie and even more so that it was done on a small budget and filmed in only 6 weeks. It just goes to show the talent of the director, writer and actors is more important than throwing big bucks at producing a movie.

The story of the programmer winning a contest to go to the company's owner was not so believable. But once the movie got underway, it became more believable. Domhnall Gleeson did not really seem to fit the role of the young program but he appeared to be nerd enough for the role. Oscar Isaac did not also seem to fit the role of the brilliant inventor of the AI robots that were the best part of the story. OnlyAlicia vikander who was very believable as the robot that seduced Caleb Smith the young programmer winner. The end of the story was good with the robot trading places with real people who either were eliminated (owner) or imprisoned in the house as were robots.

I love this movie, its the type of grounded sci fi i can see happening in the near future the 4k disc looks amazing
