This movie makes you wonder if machines really will rule the world one day. We certainly need to question everything corporations do as real people are losing power as politicians work more corporate interests than people.

I watched this movie a while back with low expectations. WoW! was I wrong. Great movie. I had to get the 4K version. I love watching movies with lots of special effects in 4K resolution. It was a great Black Friday buy.

With "Ex Machina," writer/director Alex Garland has delivered a thoughtful, thrilling, and entertaining science-fiction tale that ends up doing more with its minimal budget than some films of the genre do with several times such an amount.

Bought this because of the DTS-X sound, which is still not available for home use, however processing in Auro 3-d through 9.1 speaker setup was awesome. Story is very interesting and I love any movie I need to watch twice to catch to tie some loose ends.

I loved this movie because of the questions it arose within me. I'm also a big fan of Alicia Vikander (swoon), and the societal norms, implications, of what makes us people comes into question. Great movie in my opinion.

Amazing movie. I haven't felt this disillusioned while watching a movie since Fight Club. With the Digital Copy I will be watching this movie over and over. High quality picture and a great deal. Must have for movie aficionado's.

I had gone to see this when it first came out,Very Interesting movie ,not an impossibility to happen some day...Great effects & entertaining to watch...not any explosions or aliens for some sci-fi lovers...great movie for me though...!

This movie is the great. Alcoholic geniuses, robots, boobs, and complex philosophical concepts. Can you say "Great movie?" No, seriously. Can you? I'm just curious. This is totally separate from the review. Anyway... so totally super def worth owning.

"Ex Machina" takes you on an exciting and immensely thrilling ride. It's dark and ominous mood creates an atmosphere that keeps you on edge the entire time. You question the plot and characters and it makes you uncover the story with the characters.

This is a very good movie overall with a lot of plot holes. It is enjoyable to watch, there are just too many unbelievable aspects of the movie to make it truly great.

This movie kept me glued to the screen. It has a dark and sexy Ora about it! Special effects were top notch a kept me curious minute by minute. Don't want to give it away too much but artificial intelligence is exciting and dark at the same time.

This movie will get you to think...really think about where society is headed in terms of technology and the push towards intelligent robots/artificial intelligence...it will make you evaluate what you search for on search engines via Google & Yahoo?!

If you're a big fan of the film, like I am, then by all means this is certainly an upgrade over the standard Blu-ray. It isn't a glossy looking film to begin with, so don't expect something slick like Blade Runner 2049.

This movie is rated highly everywhere it counts, and it's an enjoyable sci-fi story and the 4K UHD enhances the experience. Got it at a good price on Black Friday, and I was not disappointed. A definite must have if you got 4K.

This film boasted a very small cast, three is all you see during this feature. How you get more from these actors, is amazing. This film has more twists and turns, then any big movie production, and is worth every penny you spend to see it...

Missed this one at the box office, so I bought it on sale at Best Buy. Cleverly written for the most part, with solid if understated acting. Good visuals and not-in-your-face CGI tells an intriguing story that leaves just enough questions unanswered.

Ex Machina its really slow and they could have done alot more with the story but if its a rainy day its worth a watch

While it might not be for everyone, Ex Machina is a mature and thoughtful thriller addressing what it means to be human, and should please those who are intrigued by the possibilities of artificial intelligence.

I was going in thinking I could have this movie play in the background as I did some house work. However, I put everything else on hold after the movie sucked me in after the first 20 minutes. Check it out.

Ex-machina far surpassed my expectations. This movie is a suspenseful sci-fi thriller that really draws it's audience in. I felt compelled to watch all the way through and let me just say wow!... what an amazing climax after such a build up.
