I was going in thinking I could have this movie play in the background as I did some house work. However, I put everything else on hold after the movie sucked me in after the first 20 minutes. Check it out.

This film boasted a very small cast, three is all you see during this feature. How you get more from these actors, is amazing. This film has more twists and turns, then any big movie production, and is worth every penny you spend to see it...

While it might not be for everyone, Ex Machina is a mature and thoughtful thriller addressing what it means to be human, and should please those who are intrigued by the possibilities of artificial intelligence.

Missed this one at the box office, so I bought it on sale at Best Buy. Cleverly written for the most part, with solid if understated acting. Good visuals and not-in-your-face CGI tells an intriguing story that leaves just enough questions unanswered.

This movie is brooding, thought provoking and unsettling. A chilling fictional account of something that is entirely possible in the not so distant future... We are going to be replaced, and we probably deserve it!!!

Ex-machina far surpassed my expectations. This movie is a suspenseful sci-fi thriller that really draws it's audience in. I felt compelled to watch all the way through and let me just say wow!... what an amazing climax after such a build up.

I found the acting in this film to be ex-machina-traordinary. The acting is great and the ideas that are presented in the film are fun to think about and entertain. It's not for everyone, but I enjoy it a lot.

Alicia did such an amazing job in this movie that not only did a watch it once but I watched it again with my wife the next night. The director did such an amazing job with the visual effects. Definetly worth watching.

This movie had great visual effects, but a somewhat so-so plot, overindulging on masculine ego tripping. Sets and atmosphere are excellent and the 4k visuals do not dissapoint.

This movie is exquisite in 4k. The colors are so beautiful and crisp. If you havent gotten around to this movie, you need to stop waiting and watch it.

While the special effects and concept of this film are excellent, it perhaps ran out of time to be a bit more detailed with it. In particular, the ending was a bit dry and deserved more information and details as to what is to come.

This movie really brings to the forefront the thought of a learning machine. It also exposes the weakness of man to create such a machine that can think and learn, then abuse it and question why. Solid screenplay on such a concept.

Intelligent A.I. thriller. Original story line and well acted. This film had a low budget compared to most sci-fi movies, but you couldn't tell by the special effects. It wasn't overwhelming though. A dark tale that keeps your attention throughout.

I was intrigued when i saw the trailer for this movie so decided to see it in theaters when it came out. I am glad i did.. probably one of the best movies i've seen in this genra. great acting and an overall feel of suffication.

If you like sci-fi, you'll love this movie. Prior to purchasing it, I had already watched it, but since it was on sale, and I knew I was going to watch it at least one more time, I thought I'd buy it. Easily worth the $5 I spent.

This movie is suitable to watch for adults and it is sci-fi movie. The downside is digital HD which will only be available at Vudu. No Itunes and MA. Paid for $4 also and good value to own this movie.

I was at bestbuy just looking around and stumbled onto this movie for a decent price and the description was interesting... So I took a chance and was surprisingly entertained! One of the few times I wasn't disappointed :)

If you don't know what to think about artificial intelligence, watch this movie and you will understand the beauty and the danger of it all. Excellently conducted, the plot is phenomenal and the ending, well, watch it to find out...

Interesting movie. You get sucked in to the persona of the robot and forget that she is not a "human". The special effects are outstanding, the wide screen display for flat screen TV's enables a theater like effect.

This was a clever & well thought out suspense thriller movie. It gives us a glimpse of what the future might be like, for better or worse. It gives off a futuristic and creepy vibe. We don't know whose lying or whose using whom.
