It’s such a great movie. 4K enhancement looks really sharp. It is worth a buy. At least a watch if you’ve never seen it.

Three Oscar-worthy performances, a brilliant screenplay, and the most convincing CGI I have ever seen. This movie warrants immediate entry into the canon of great films. If you haven't seen it yet, what are you doing with your life?!

Ex Machina is such an interesting movie that has a slow burn with a great pay off. Every actor brings their all and allows for a movie that is hypnotic and sucks you in.

Slight SPOILER ALERT. This sci-fi has a fun set up that appeals to your interest and then manipulates and deceives you. I'm still unsure of the pronunciation of the title, but I go with the Spanish pronunciation as opposed to Greek.

Another great small cast, small set film. It's got a very claustrophobic feel and good suspense. The young cast does well and the movie keeps you watching, thinking, and then leaves you thinking about our everyday lives.

There was no better sci-fi movie than this last year. Perhaps even over the past 5 years. Its subtle use of special effects made it extremely believable and put you in the mood of the story. It is an instant classic. 5 stars!!!

Thought provoking movie, that's asks the basic question, how human can we make a robot or its AI? And what possibilities can come out of it, or it's consequences be? Entertaining regardless with an unexpected ending.

where will we go with robotics and what kind of artificial intellegence should be developed for, and used by, such a machine? here's a riveting tale of what might be done and what could happen! buckle up.

A good blend of sci-fi and drama. My expectations were not real high for this movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong, this isn't an Oscar worthy movie, but it's good, and I was entertained.

Ex Machina is a great film in the vein of Blade Runner dealing with what makes us human through the lens of robots. The video and audio is excellent and the making of showing how the seamless VFX are done make this a must purchase.

This was entirely better upon the second watch. There are nice special features on this 4K/Blu Ray, but no commentary.

I loved the story behind this movie. I love a good scfi movie that makes you think what if, this one surely does that. The scenes in this movie were very well done and at times can be very intense. Adults only

This film is really well done by all that were involved. Really makes you wonder what could happen if AI were real, and who knows - maybe something like this has already happened.

Ever wonder how to judge when a AI would be fully aware? When it doesn't want to die. What would it do about that? How far would it go to survive? A movie of the near-future, though I suspect more near than future.

Base story was very simple. In the future somewhere, someone made an Android , but the android tried to use human. It is brilliant.! hunting and thrilling in there. Acting is good. even story too. I just wonder who is the actress?

I was a little confused at first with this movie but then as it went on and I got to the end the thinking that must hav e gone onto this movie was insane to come up with the whole thing definitly worth the watch

This is a decent film that taps into the existence of life with artificial intelligence. Its worth watching and is a thought provoking movie. Get this movie , but make sure you get it on sale.

I love the 4K version of this movie because its incredible to watch. Much better than regular hd i love 4K cant believe 8K is coming next.

Not the best and not the worst. If you are a geek and love technology then you can enjoy this movie. I bought it on special and even though I can watch on Amazon Prime for free I don't regret buying the film. It's really good

There's been so many android sci-fi films over the years, most are low-budget wanna-bes but this one is gripping from beginning to end and doesn't cheat you on special effects or believability on the story. A winner.
