This is a well acted and written sci-fi story about artificial intelligence. Very thoughtful. This isn't the typical action movie. It's mostly people just sitting and talking but it is not boring.

I like this science fiction movie. But my TV is not 4K. I will buy a new 4K TV in the future. I hope to buy a big deal at Best Buy

I really enjoyed Ex-Machina and found it to be an engaging story/script that makes you think. Great special effects too. One of the best sci-fi movies of the past year and highly recommended. Great blu-ray too!

Excellent movie. It is a low key thriller; continually building momentum. It has a minimalist cast, which makes the visuals and verbiage all the more impressive to keep the viewer engaged.

In the classical Greek theater the fantastic stage props that were employeed to suggest divine intervention was referred as Deus Ex Machina. In this film the machines learn to outwit the gods who invented them.

Bought this movie after researching for best visual effects. Initially surprised that this won an Oscar as I'd never heard about it but after watching the film I understood why. Some scenes were unreal.

Does not have the look of a high budget movie. Did enjoy the story line. If you enjoy thought provoking movies about robots and the future of artificial intelligence you might give a look.

Totally original story, great cinematography, and seamless CGI. Nice but not stellar transfer, and HDR doesn't jump off the screen. Still, a good movie to add to your collection.

I finally got around to watching this film and it lives up to every review I've heard. This is a beautiful film. Highly recommended and you get a digital HD copy with the purchase.

One of those slowly unwinding suspense sci-fi thrillers. Really enjoyed it, but the ending was somewhat unexpected.

A very intriguing film. The whole concept and thoughts behind it are overwhelmingly fantastic. Oscar Issac, Dohmnall Gleeson and Alicia Vikander are amazing and completely draw you into their world.

the newer sci-fi movies have such fantastic special effects, hard to distinguish reality from fiction... being in blu-ray format optimizes the experience... definitely an adult movie
