Tough Set up for Mac users

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not an HP fan and went in looking at them only to find, they have gotten even cheaper, flimsy plastic and seeing broken one on the floor as a display, didn't help. I chose this one after the sales person steered me this way. It looked better made, more solid. I brought it home and opened the package only to find the CD included, was only for Windows and not Mac. You have to go online to download the programs but Cannon does not make it easy AT ALL to find the appropriate programs. It said I needed to update my computer but being a 9 yr old Mac Mini, I was now forced to purchase a new Mac Mini which should make it easier.

Second one worked

The first printer had issues from the beginning and would not stay turned on after printing only 4 pages. The new printer seems to be doing well after printing and scanning pages.

2 of them broke

Neither one was able to connect by wifi. The first had problems being recognized by my computer. The second worked when I plugged it in with a USB. But then the rear feed stopped registering when I had paper in it, so I could no longer print single checks. I returned it and bought an Epson which worked right away. Unfortunately, the Canons now seem to be pure junk.
