I never really habe luck with printers. It works most of the time .

It was working fine, Up until sometime this summer, after the HP smart app updated itself. Now it takes like a whole half hour to scan one photo and crashes all my other apps & browsers that my computer has open. I have to restart them all, after scanning one photo. And even restart my computer because my computer starts acting slow after trying to scan 1 photo, I tried using my other computer, but on that one, the HP app won't start up at all now (when it used to work before this summer's update to the HP app). My main computer i am using is fairly new, i just bought it in 2018. And i don't have any other problems with it. And it has all it's updates and everything. How am i supposed to scan photos now? Do I need to buy another brand scanner, or what?!?!?!

I got this for my daughter and it’s stop working after a month

Paper feed stopped working after 6mths and its no longer available.

Used the Geek squad for more than an hour and they could not help me get in installed. Tried other sources with no success. Finally using on line suggestions from On-Line HP support was able to get it running. Seems to be running o.k. since. You get what you pay for and the price was terrific.

Works fine and price was right, No ink and pricey to buy....

No complaints daughters use it for school no problems so far.

It works great besides it won't feed paper outta no where

This printer was a night mare to install .my daughter has been on it for 2hrs and still not done would not do a wireless setup and it would not allow it,therefore I cannot get free ink. Had to use a USB cable. Don't know what the outcome will be.

prints ok, ink carts cost twice the cost of the printer and there are two of them. The black cartridge had to be replaced within 3 weeks of purchase and I don't print much. Will not print an envelop like my old printer would even though it claims that feature. Drivers were hard to install, had to do it 3 times before the printer would work. Cable to connect it to the laptop costs the same as the printer. This was not a good experience. Currently looking for a replacement that will print an envelop and use cheaper ink.

In all fairness, I have had at least 4 HP printers. This one prints extremely slowly. Feed only has room for a page or two at a time. I paid more for my other HP printers. Maybe you get what you pay for.

No frills printer . You cannot scale your prints! Pay more get a better printer if you need it. If you need simple print then this is for you.

Not even one year old, rarely used and now it will not recognize a new cartridge. Not a knock-off cartridge, an HP cartridge. It will not print. I spent hours online troubleshooting and now Geek Squad wants me to drive an hour to drop it off at a store for repair. Not sure if I will have to drive back to pick up. Financially this is a bad move on my part. Should also add that I was NEVER able to get the ink replenish working, all codes they sent wouldn't work and then expired. This is a real piece of junk.

If I had done further research I wouldn’t of purchase this printer it’s very difficult when it comes to printing out stuff especially if you’re doing it wirelessly

My daughter had some difficulty trying to pair the printer with her laptop and phone. We tried to call customer service and they wasn't much help

Printer cannot print on both sides of the page. Scanner is not good and it makes loud noise. Compared to Canon, this is a poor one. Printer ink is also getting consumed for lesser number of printouts.

We got it working on the first day but now it’s stopped working again. Has difficulty linking to laptops and mobile devices.

Printer is not consistent when trying to print or scan wirelessly.

This unit came and refused to feed paper to print. I tried for too long to get it to run and cannot return it. HP stated "They no longer support this printer scanner HP Deskjet 3631." I now have a brand new Hewlett Packard that does not work and I wasted almost $50.00 on it. Don't waste your money.
