I checked it as soon as I could and it plays them fine. I got this item on sale and it was worth the sale price at least. It's a good idea to have a way to play dvds in the far future if you are still collecting them now and I picked up this player as something I could use when dvds, dvd players, and tvs you can plug them into are no longer being manufactured. All you need to do is plug this into the wall and charge it. I don't think they are going to change electrical sockets as soon as they are changing the way you watch movies but with a big collection of dvds it's good to have something put aside in case you can't find anything to play them anymore.

Doesn't work!!

Well I've been trying to charge it for the past three days and it hasn't charged!! It will only turn on if it is plugged into the wall, and I've had it plugged in for three days!! It says it will only charge if it is turned off, and I've done just that. It is just extremely disappointing to receive a product that doesn't work....

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this player online and from the time I bought it, it wouldn't play any of my dvds it keep telling me error I even opened up a brand new dvd out of the wrapper and it did the same thing I owed a RCA dvd player didn't pay much more than this for it and it lasted me 9 years even though the box said 2 years I will never buy one of there products again I would much rather invest a little more money with it any gets something that is actually gonna work verses my son getting it and getting upset that it would not play any of his dvds.
