Nothing to go crazy over, but it aptly shaves your face.

Awesome electric shaver, but I can only go one day without shaving otherwise I need to use a manual razor.

I have very thick course facial hair and found that most electric shavers would feel almost like plucking hairs off my face which didn't feel to pleasing to say the least. This shaver however has been the only one to not do that and seems to have the power necessary to cut through my Herculean hair when I use it on the highest setting. Now I finally can shave my face with the precision and lack of pain I had been looking for.

Impressed with the shave quality. No need to go over more than one time for a clean cut.

This shaver is undoubtedly the best unit I've ever found. It's made like a Swiss watch, with beautiful fit & finish. It's made in the Netherlands, not China. Everything fits and clicks. I could do without the somewhat hokey "cleaner" apparatus, kinda' silly over-kill. Why not just take a few seconds and snap the cutter head off and flush it with some hot water? I'd much rather seen Norelco put those extra dollars into the shaver unit itself. The shave, to me, it's unreal close and comfortable. Rivals a blade shave any day. Yes, you need to give your face it a few days to adapt to an electric shaver if you are new to one. Once you do, you'll love this thing. Norelco believes this so much that they'll buy it back if you're unhappy with it!

I purchased this shaver today (as I needed a new one; had an old Norelco shaver that was 3 years old) and I gave it a test today. It has given me the closest shave I have ever had with an electric shaver. I think its a good buy, and definitely worth a look for anyone who is on the market for a new shaver. Compared to it's sibling, the 9700; this shaver has almost the same amount of features - but at a more reasonable price point (in regards to the other model; I am not sure why you would necessarily need a digital display for a shaver - but go figure).

Purchased for my husband to replace his 15+ year old Norelco shaver and he loves it! Shopped Best Buy online, compared different models before purchasing this model. When purchasing, the shaver rang up at an even lower price than was listed online! Shaver charges quickly, keeps it's charge for quite awhile, trimmer works great for cleaning up neck area between haircuts.

Easy use, easy clean, good shaver, no need worry about the rest hairs.

So many people report this as giving the closest shave ever and that is why I went with it. NO WAY!!! Went from a Braun (had 3) to this and what a mistake. Cheap plastic, no power and fair at best as far as a close shave. At this price the thing should sing and dance because it sure doesn't know how to shave.
