One of the best book to film adaptations of the Stephen King universe, this movie introduced a little known actress named Kathy Bates who starred alongside the legendary James Caan and absolutely stole the show. I definitely recommend this for all fans of Stephen King and horror in general.

Misery is a classic directed by Rob Reiner and screenplay by the legendary William Goldman. This is a pretty faithful adaptation of Stephen King's novel. Technical merits are outstanding.

What can I say. Kathy Bates shows just how evil someone can be when they have an obsession with someone without actually killing them. An early example of her ability to get inside a role and give it life to the point of hoping she never turns her attention on you.

Movie loiks good. Has some film grain but not much. Colors look natural and is a nice improvement from the blu ray from the past. Great buy.

If you like thrillers, you have to watch Misery. It will blow your mind away. Kathy Bates nails her role as a psychopath. She will make you cringe like never before. She is just incredible in this movie. James Caan rocks too. Probably the best roles of both their careers.

One of the best adaptations of a Stephen King novel. Kathy Bates and James Caan give great performances and really play off each other well. This bluray from Scream Factory is top-notch and the version to get for the transfer and bonus features.

I knew and heard a lot about this movie but never gave it a chance because it wasn't a straight out Stephen King "horror" story. Forget that - Misery was completely unnerving and unsettling as a 'horror' can get.

Misery is one of my favorite Stephen King adaptations. It should not be overlooked by anyone, the performances are great you feel as trapped as our protagonist and you feel the tension and stress he goes through. Everything about this flick is great.

My wife loves Stephen King, I watched this movie with her last year for the first time and enjoyed it. The suspense and stress were intense and the payoff was awesome. This was a great pick up, price was good and it had digital.

Enjoy most movies based on Stephen King novels and this one always comes to mind. Had the standard Blu but on sale at 14.99 had to upgrade to the Scream Factory. Kathy Bates is just terrifying in this film and holds up well even today.

This has to be the most coolest Stephen King movie ever as it holds your attention through & through with the best twists & turns you never except

I’ve been a number one fan of this movie since it came out on VHS. The Blu-ray quality is a nice transfer from original graphics. It is a classic, must-have, old school suspense film and well worth the few dollars I paid for it!

What an old thriller!It is still eerie today. Kathy Bates was scary! James Caan was awesome also. A really dark movie just as I remembered! I stored it in my collection.

If you haven't, it's a classic MUST GET for your collection. My husband is a Stephen King fan so I got this blueray on sale at Best Buy as a Christmas present. You couldn't rent it for the price and over the years we've watched it multiple times.

Watching this 4K restoration with the new Dolby Vision color is incredible! I felt like I was watching it again for the first time!

Stephen King Cult Classic Remastered By Scream factory and made into a collectors edition, definitely a must have have for any horror collector. This is a giant upgrade from the original release.

The Collector's Edition is fantastic! It's filled with brand new special features, and retained the features from the original DVD and Blu-Ray versions. A must have to Misery, and fans of Stephen King!
