I love this fitness/sleep tracker. I find it to be an accurate & motivational tool to get my butt off the couch & exercise. The sleep tracker part is a useful tool to see if I'm getting enough sleep. The only thing I don't like is the band/clip is such a thin plastic that it breaks within a few weeks. I actually lost my first Misfit Flash because of this. For that reason I put the disk in my pocket from now on.

This activity and sleep tracker works very well. I bought two of them for me and my girlfriend. Since the phone app has been updated, the device can now be used to pause and play your music, or even turn on a wifi enabled light. The wristband one one of the devices did break, but Misfit customer service quickly replaced it for free after contacting them. They also sent two free battery replacements once the batteries began to die. It is great to be able to sync the device to phones with just bluetooth technology. And even though they are not rechargable, replacing the battery only every 6 months is very reasonable. Compared to some of the other activity trackers, this one does just about the same number of things for a much better price. Unless you are interested in heart rate monitoring, GPS technology, or would prefer a much more expensive smart watch, this device does the job pretty well!

What I like about the misfit is that I can swim with it. I'm not a runner nor do I walk all the time so I didn't feel I needed something expensive. This lets me know how well I sleep. The original band does not last long. It will break. I got a watch band that the misfit fits in and have been pleased with it. It does good enough for me to be satisfied without spending a fortune.

I was looking to get a cheap tracker to get me started. There are so many advances in fitness wearables coming out in 2015, I didn't want to spend $100-$200 on something that will be cheap in a few months. It tracks sleep and steps well, and automatically. It synchs well with My Fitness Pal. Love that there is no charging daily (watch battery). Only sports it tracks is basketball, cycling, swimming, tennis and soccer; so when you do an activity outside of these you have to cheat. For example, I log Zumba as bball and line dancing as soccer. So for a starter device this is great and I'll be into the habits of using one and more knowledgeable when I select a wearable out of the next generation of trackers.

Can't beat the combination of long battery life, accurate tracking, cross platform compatibility and and waterproof body. All it does is track fitness and tell time, but that's just what we needed and it does it well. As a bonus, the software is supported on the Windows Mobile store also. The kids like the cool design.

This is the only tracker that is WATERPROOF, you can swim in it, dive with it on... about 40 feet and be in the Jacuzzi. As soon you figure out how to tell time it is a very cool clock that most people can read it until your explain it to them. Love that I do not have to charge this every day, 2 days or 5 days... had my battery working just fine. I wear this and the Fitbit at the same time this tracks less total miles almost near accurate with the Fitbit is way over but I use that snapshot to friends on FB. My real friends ask me what did the Misfit total? Ex. ran a 5k new day hustle with Renegade Racing. Misfit showed 3.4 miles when I was at the car about to go home as the Fitbit showed 5.20 miles for the same time and distance. This is why I like the Misfit it is true and more accurate at 1/3 the price :)

My girlfriend loves this tracker it's got a great app and it works out well not having to be charged. One downfall is that the wristband breaks easily because it's made of kind of cheap plastic so we're looking to get her a better wristband otherwise quality tracker.

Keeps great track of steps. Purchased cos on sale and FItbit, (Which I Loved) didn't work for a shopper, on wrist, would not track all, wile this with waist or wrist option seems more accurate. However, tough to sync, seems program a bit weak, but like it

Tracked my steps, helped me know I needed to move more,
and before I buy an Apple or Google watch I needed to try a cheaper one,
and this fit the bill, my only complaint is the watch band broke after 3 weeks

I love that these are waterproof, and they seem to be a good alternative to more expensive bands. Pretty basic, they just count steps, and sleep, but it works for me and my husband, and the price couldn't be beat! It's nice that you have the option to wear on your wrist, or as a clip on. It's very comfortable as well. The companion app is easy to use. You do have to manually sync with your phone, but they isn't really that big of a deal. I'd recommend them for anyone who doesn't want to pay a high price, and just needs something basic.

I initially enjoyed the flash, but after having to return it 3 times in 2 weeks, I was disappointed. I loved the accuracy and ease of using the app. Unfortunately the band broke repeatedly.

I was using a cell phone app to keep track of my jogging/walking for a few years until I got the FLash for Christmas. Now I can still listen to my music and keep track of my steps and distance without using up all my cell phone data plan minutes (with a family of five, I try to conserve data). The Flash is pretty simple and does not have the fancy GPS like my free phone apps (sometimes you just want to post your jog as a map online), but I can wear my "watch-like" Flash all day long and it keeps tabs of what I do. I just need to stay aware that any hand movement counts as a step.. just typing this, I'm sure I just recorded a good workout. But if you're looking for cheap, ease of use (the app is simple to look at online or with phone), this is for you. :)

The Flash is an efficient little tracker. I love how light and comfortable it is. The fact that it does not need charging is wonderful. No more forgetting it on the charger. The battery is easy to change every couple of months. The sleep tracker is great. The phone app is easy to understand and easy to sync with the flash. The price is right and better than most other trackers.

It seems to be a good step tracker, and when it identifies sleep, it's great... However several times it hasn't gotten my sleep times correct and that's a little disappointing. It also is a little difficult to get the face in the right position, since it doesn't snap into the band. I really like the size and features overall and if you don't want to spend much on a tracker, this is a great choice. The only other thing I would say is that the plastic band around the face cracked on my first one in about a week. Replaced it and had better luck with the second one.

I like the Misfit and the App you use with it. I have been using it everyday since purchase and never take it off, which is why I needed water proof for shower, swimming, dishes, fish tank cleaning etc... I like that it also monitors sleep patterns and has a wake-up alarm and sleep noise you can play from APP. I will say that the clip is cheaply made and broke almost immediately on my husbands. Not many of my friends have this device so trying to compete for steps only happens with husband and sister. I actually am going to upgrade to FitBit soon.

I love this thing. I've used the FitBit Felx in the past, and I currently wear the Flash in conjunction with the Samsung Gear Fit. The Gear Fit is great but I was never convinced that my steps would be correct wearing it on my wrist. I sit at a computer all day, pick up my phone, etc. The gear fit counts a lot of my movements as steps, while the Flash, which I wear on my bra strap near my armpit, doesn't.
There are 2 things I love most about this:
1. No charging. There is a battery tracker in the app that will tell you if you get low. I don't know how well it works as I've worn the flash about a month, but I can't wait to find out!
2. Automatic sleep tracking! I always forgot to turn on sleep tracking on my Gear Fit and my Flex. This is awesome because it knows when i go to sleep. I can compare it and see how much sleep I'm getting with my Gear Fit when I remember to use that, too!
In my opinion, there is only one con: There is no heart rate tracking. I wish there was, but I'm not sure how you could do it and offer the option to wear it in different places on your body.
Overall I'm super happy! I gave the 2nd on to my mom!

I love the Misfit! I wear it almost all the time except in the shower however it is fine in water. I have experience with other fitness/sleep monitors however like that is simple and gets the job done. I sync with my phone and compete with friends who also have it. The app also syncs with other fitness apps as well as earning me reward points at Walgreens. The lighter color, of course, gets dirty quicker but is easy to clean and goes well with most outfits.

This is a very solid entry level activity tracking option. In my opinion it works very accurately for step tracking, and provides a reasonable estimate of basic sleep metrics (total time and "restful" time). The form factor is perfect for someone who doesn't want to wear a wristband at all times and was one of my deciding factors in making the purchase. The belt clip works effectively for my day to day needs, and it is very easy to then slip the device into the wristband for nighttime (sleep tracking) use. This may not be quite as aesthetically pleasing as the metal Misfit Shine, but it is by no means unsightly or "cheap" looking. The only minor issues I've found are both sync related. The setup to sync the device data with MyFitnessPal is a bit more difficult than with other trackers, and the MyFitnessPal app sometimes needs to be reloaded in order to refresh the data. The Misfit app itself occasionally has problems syncing (presumably due to distance from the device), but this is easily rectified by simply syncing again.

I bought this mostly to track my sleep, get instant feedback on what worked and what didn't. By trying different things and seeing the result on my tracker I increased my average sleep from three and a half hours per night to seven hours. Incidentally, I also got motivated to increase the number of activity points I strive to achieve each day. And I finally had a watch I could see in light or shade or dark.
The downside is that the band breaks the first time you catch it on something; the tracker falls out and you're just out of luck.
