So this is like my fourth Misfit shine. I am a water fitness instructor. These are really the only fitness tracker that is water proof. I had several Misfit Shines when they worked it was great. But they would sometime leak and quit working. I also lost a few because they catch on my cloths. The Misfit Shine 2 was designed for water sports. So far no leaking. BUT I have lost it several times. It keep popping out of the wristband. When I wear it on my arm my cloths catch it. When I wear it on my ankle. It pops out for no reason. I really wish they would fix their design to be more secure. They are too expensive to keep losing. If I lose this one NO MORE

This is my first activity tracker....and I love it! The only thing I don't like is the wristband. The activity tracker seems to fall out of the wristband. I have not had any issues with it falling out of the clip.

Overall, I like the aesthetics of the device. It's a nice looking device (about the size of a few quarters stacked together. However, compared to every other fitness tracker I have (including a FitBit One pedometer), it will constantly undercount steps and activities. I also had issues where it was shutting itself off, etc. Went to replace the battery, and the factory installed one was larger than a CR2032 battery should have been. It ended up getting wedged in the device, smashing the contacts so only squeezing the Misfit resulted in it turning on. Was able to remove the battery (not easy), pry the contacts back up, and install a new CR2032 battery and that problem was solved. Still under counts steps, though, and the sync fails about 1/3 of the time.

This is a great, simple to use fitness and sleep tracker. The Bluetooth interface simply works. The phone app is easy to use and understand. The text and phone notifications work great, since I frequently have my phone on silent and away from me. The most unexpected useable feature is the ability to check the time in the middle of the night without turning on a light and waking my spouse. And its easy to read without my glasses.

It a really good tracker, it automatically tracks your sleep and does a good job of tracking your activity. My only problem with it, is the tracking disk has a habit of falling out of the ring-like band. I have ordered an after market band that will make it a perfect tracker, but as is, keep your eye on it as it has fallen out in my trashcan, in stores and while out in parking lots. I would still say it is a good tracker though.

my only complaint is about the band. It seems flimsy, and the tracker will come out of it at times.

My fiancé and I both purchased misfits, which we love. The tracker works well, looks amazing, and has already helped inspire us to be more active. The only downside is that there are currently no accessories available for Shine 2, and so we're stuck with the very poorly designed strap which doesn't seem to hold the device in place. My fiancé has almost lost his a few times now, so we hope the new accessories are released very soon!

This is a great activity tracker. It's small, sleek and stylish and accurate. Despite the reviews of it easily coming out of it's watch band holder (which it does), Misfit sent me, free of charge, the newly redesigned sport watchband which completely solves the problem. 100% improvement!

Device will not stay in the wristband. The actual round tracker falls out in and out of the water. I am very disappointed because we can't even use it without constantly having to pop it back in.

Works good waterproof and syncs with other apps. Only manually syncs, would be nice if it was automatic. Sleep monitoring works good

Got this to replace a misfit Swarovski shine that stopped working . Only had this one for a month before I lost it. My wrists are thin and the circle pretty much took up the width of my wrist. It was in the sports band and popped out a few times, each time I was able to secure it but last week it popped out again and I didn't notice in time to go backtrack and find it. I like the concept, sadly just didn't work out well for me.

Not too bad. I still prefer the Apple Watch but Misfit Shine can easily pass off as a watch (which I love).

Had to buy a band from China that holds the shine 2 in place and wraps around the piece so it can't be lost. Have tried smaller bands and numerous hip clips.

I love my shine ! It's simple and not too fancy for anyone who is looking for a fitness tracker / gadget without all the flash. The only issue with this product is the standard issue wrist band which doesn't seem to hold this device as well as it's previous version. After market upgrade will be needed if you intent to keep this for product for a good time.

The features are a nice upgrade from the Shine however, the tracker falls out of the band at least once a day. I'm afraid I'm going to lose it.

It works super good. It motivates me to work out, record my calorie burning. It can also work as a watch. I love its battery design best. The only thing is that it's not very stable on the band. I was lucky that I got it back after it disappeared 3 times.

Misfit is my favorite activity tracker because it's waterproof, accurate and you don't have to charge it and it always works great. I will continue to buy this brand.

Bought this for my wife since she had the original shine in the burgundy color but they keep flying out of the cheap little plastic band. I think it is a design flaw that these their trackers keep flying out of the plastic band. When we contacted Misfit people and told them of the circumstances they agreed and replaced my wife's Misfit 2 since she only had it two weeks before that little unit dislodged itself. The best thing is we weren't looking for a replacement unit but they shipped out a new unit to my wife and for that we will be loyal customers.

Overall a great tracker. Very accurate! The major con I have found is the tracker pops out of the wristband very easily. But Mist fit has made a better holder and will ship one to you for free.

I had bought the original Shine over 1 1/2 yrs ago due to no charging and its water resistance. The Misfit Shine 2 has added some nice new features. The vibration alert for non activity is nice!
