Every time you bump it the disc pops out of the wrist strap. The windows App doesn't work at all and the android App is too simplistic. Sorry but the only one that thinks its Impressive is me.

This is an awesome fitness tracker. One think that holds me back from a 5 star rating is the lack of accessories for the Shine 2 at this time.

Love what this tracker does. Love the fact it keeps up with steps and sleep.

I decided to change the Misfit Shine1 for the new Misfit Shine 2 because I liked that the Shine 2 reminded you to move, and other great things that they added. I gave this product 3 stars because I bought two and one of them was not working properly. I contacted the company and they are sending a replacement. It was my new Shine2 with the problems, my friend is so happy with his gift. So I went back to use the Shine1 while waiting for the replacement, but I recommend the product.

1. Like the sleek look & relative ease of use. 2. Don't like that there was no info on how to orient it & place it correctly on my wrist for correct reading. 3. Also wish I could see my results on the face. It takes some getting used to especially now days when that is the standard. 4. I would recommend it if the person was fine with all of this.

there has to be a way to make it more secure. I have lost one Misfit already and decided to purchase one more. If this one is lost then I simply will not waste my money until the developers have come up with a secure method to keep it in its band. Otherwise, I do like the accuracy of monitoring my activity. I have told others about the pros and cons of the Misfit Shine 2.

I love the new Shine 2. I like the different color lights plus it's really easy to tell the time on this one. I'm waiting now for a leather band that will fit this Shine 2. So far I haven't been able to find one, but I keep watching for it. It's also a conversation piece and several people have asked me about it. Really like how it motivates me not to try to find the closest parking place, but to walk a little ways so I accomplish my points I need each day.

It's great if you do a lot of swimming and want to track your activity but it does not count your laps. It also does not monitor your heart rate while exercising to determine how much exercise you are getting. So if you are doing an activity that doesn't require you to move your arms a lot it doesn't track the movement well or you need to move the device to another body part. Also if worn on your wrist, I highly recommend getting a strap that covers the device to ensure it is secure. While using the strap it comes with, mine fell out twice and I almost lost it.

I lover my Shine 2! It works perfectly and tracks my sleep very accurately which is one of the reasons that I bought it. The text and call notifications have come in handy more than once and it holds up in water just like it says! I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase one!

Love the minimalistic design; looks great with a pencil skirt at work and casual workout wear. Steps tracked were similar to my iPhone tracked steps. Vibrate feature upon call or text works great. I could not, however, get the tracker to register my sleep. Perhaps due to my interrupted and early to bed sleep schedule (newborn at home).

I've researched many fitness trackers, but the misfit 2 Shine or Speedo version is the only device that will track laps swam in a pool. Completely accurate on all levels. Most complete tracker I have found.

Researched a lot on all the fitness band my husband wears his band the device falls out a lot more than it probably should. He also had to replace the batteries after two weeks when it quit syncing with his cellphone. I would hope that since this fixed the problem that the batteries last as long as said about 8 months.

I thought the Shine was great until I lost it because it popped off the wristband.

User friendly and easy to set up. Phone app very good. Doesn't count the steps as accurately as my prior tracker, but some of the extras make up for that. Love the feature that notifies me of a text or call and love the looks.

I bought this as a phone notification tool + smart button. It is discreet and waterproof but lack the functionality promised. IFTTT integration does not work which eliminates any flexibility for the smart button. Also, vibrations are too weak to notice an incoming call or text.

This is my first tracker it works great for tracking everyday movements have not done a full workout with it yet. Love the sleep tracking. I do wish that it was compatable with more apps.

This is a great basic tracker. I got it so that I could use the clip and not wear anything on my wrist. My husband wears a wrist tracker of a different popular brand and this Shine matches steps well when we hike together.

I bought this, but ended up returning it for the Polar. The Polar had a few more features which I was looking for including water proof versus resistant. It might depend upon what's important to you, but this was one of the big deciders for me.

Overall good Product and idea. However it doesn't stay on the wrist band. Therefore, It's easy to lose since it snaps off the wristband. I don't think it's worth the price. It's unfortunate because I like what it offers. Monitoring wise.
