After reviewing all the options out there for fitness trackers, my wife and I chose the Misfit Shine. No charging needed. The battery lasts about 6 months. Waterproof, light and unobtrusive. We never take these off. They pair nicely with our iPhones. Set your own goals and see how you match up on the iPhone app. Recommended!

Looks nice. Can be worn a number of ways. I like that there are different bands and jewelry available. Only draw back is the band that comes with it is easy to stretch so the misfit popped out (happened 3 times). Purchased the leather band for a solid / secure fit. I do admit though that the leather band looks much nicer. All said I am happy with the misfit!

The shine itself is a sleek functional activity tracker. I wanted it for the water resistance and the replaceable battery. I used it for about a day before returning it because the software was incredibly frustrating and lacked functionality of the jawbone or fitbit software. If you're willing to wait for the software to catch up its a great product.

Don't ever have to worry about charging it or even taking it off while showering or swimming. I've taken it off maybe 3 or 4 times over the month of ownership, it's pretty much become a long term piece of jewlery. Have yet to own it long enough to see if the 4-6month battery claims proof true but so far so good.

I had a Jawbone UP24 that lasted a week and stopped charging so I decided to try the Shine. The UP did in fact, track sleep very nicely. If the Shine tracks sleep as it says it does, then I am a bit lost because on the APP I can find no sleep tracking. Also what mostly bothers me is that as soon as I sync the Shine, I can literally wave it around in the air and it says I have gone 10 steps, so I don't think it really is very accurate. I love the fact that it uses a battery and does not have to be tethered to a USB charger, but then part of my like of that is that the UP ability to charge failed in 5 days or so. I also did not like the UP as it was uncomfortable on my wrist, but part of that is I'm a big guy and even the large Up did not fit well. I did get the wrist band for the Shine and it is very comfortable, essentially just like a watch band. At this point I think the UP product recorded data better but was a terrible device to use. The Shine does not seem as accurate as the UP, is more to my liking in terms of style and daily use, but still does not meet my needs. I wanted a good sleep tracker as well. I guess no available device is really to my liking. I am looking forward to an improved Smart Watch, but so far they are bulky and not to my liking either.

I upgraded from a jawbone up to the shine, what I like about includes that it is really nice to just wear. The design allows for it to be worn in a variety of different ways. Even just wearing it on my wrist, it doesn't look like a fitness tracker, more like a watch. The variety of different wearing options also allows for a wider range of activities that it can track.

This is the first fitness tracker that I have owned. Setup was very easy and the iOS software setup was quick. I love that it's water proof. It's so comfortable that I wear it while working or working out.

Great product. Easy to use. Accurate. The sleep app is very nice as well as pedometer. Nothing to charge and works well and is stylish.

I have been searching for an activity tracker that is not only water resistant but could be worn while swimming laps or doing water aerobics. I finally found it in the Misfit Shine. It tracks my progress throughout the day both on land and in the water. The IPhone App is easy to use and free. It has goals I can set for myself so I am not trying to keep up with everyone else. It also has a watch function that takes some getting used to be is very handy. It comes with a watch band and a magnetic clip to attach to belt loops, shoe strings, pockets and shirt collars.

I have found it to be very accurate and super convenient to use. Since it is waterproof, I never have to take it off. I love the sleep tracking feature.

I have really enjoyed using the Misfit Shine. One of my favorite features is that I can change the way I wear it whenever I want to. Sometimes I wear it like a watch on my wrist, but I have a pretty watch that I'd rather wear much of the time. Instead I can put it in my pocket or clip it to the neck of my shirt. There are so many options just within this one device. It seems to be pretty accurate, including tracking how much I'm sleeping at night. I like the point system that tells me how close I am to reaching my activity goals for the day. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I have had 3 differnt devises now and this one has been the best so far! Great app that gives u background noise like a thunderstorm or waves to sleep to and I love that it tracks ur sleep at night in addition to other daily activities! Great product for the price!

Lightweight, downloading is easy and quick. If I didn't sync it daily it seemed to loose information so it showed there was no activity when there was actually heavy activity. When I went swimming tit didn't ttrack it as that but as running. I have been wearing it on my wrist and haven't tried to switch it to my shoe to see the difference in tracking ability. I have small wrists so appreciate the adjustablity of the band. From talking to a co-worker who has a different tracker this one seems better for keeping track of activity.

Was most interested in the sleep tracking and it's hit or miss. If you wake in the middle of the night it doesn't always register. Steps compared to galaxy S5 are always off sometimes by a large number. I will say it's comfortable, light weight, and sleek.

Love my Misfit shine because it is compact and easy to wear. It is small enough to wear in multiple locations and is easy to move around. Also, like that it is water proof and does not need to be charged.

I really like this activity tracker. I wear it all day& night. I like that I don't have to charge it since it runs off a watch battery. I like that it can also track my sleep& that it comes with a clasp so I can put it around my pants belts loop.

I used to have a Fitbit Zip. I loved the product, but after two... I decided that I had enough of all the glitches and wanted to try something new. The Shine is perfect for what I need and is very light weight. Not to mention the many different ways it can be worn. It's waterproof and I love that aspect! I can sweat, shower, and swim in it! I never have to worry about it messing up. I highly recommend this product. Wait, did I mention the fact that is syncs with all your favorites apps as well?!? It's no Misfit... That's for sure!!

I've had the misfit shine for about a month, so far it's worked pretty well. I had a little problem putting the battery in but the rest of the setup was real easy. Tracks the amount of steps u take , sleep time and exercise fairly well.
