Received this as a birthday gift and I love how easy it is to use! Double tap for time and status is a little finicky and doesn't always work properly but overall a good easy product to use. Clasp holder could use some adjusting. The first time I wore it to do a serious walk, the misfit fell out multiple times and now has scratches on the face. I purchased the black leather watch strap and it fits much more securely.

Love the "shine"! I had first purchased the Misfit "flash" for its water resistant claims. It did not hold up in hot water or any water after its first failure. However it still works out of water. The "shine" is not only much more attractive and slim, but is holding up well in water exercise. Good product for the price.

I love that I can wear this device every day and no one ever sees it. The magnet is strong and reliable. The only time it has ever come off accidentally is when I lean against something metal, like my son's bed frame. It's an attractive design, but easily hidden on a belt loop or bra strap. It's easy to check a couple of times a day, and I find myself motivated to walk a little further or add an extra walk here and there to get a few more lights illuminated. And it's so exciting when you light up the whole circle! You can program your second mode to monitor sleep, or to a more intense activity such as running or even swimming! It's waterproof, so you can wear it in the pool! It syncs effortlessly with your iPhone.

I bought one of these for my wife and decided to get one for myself. The software available can do amazing things that will keep you on track for activity and fitness. That having been said, I was disappointed in a couple of areas. I wore the unit on my wrist. If it was cold outside and I put my hands in my pockets, there was little activity registered. On the other hand, when I directed music, I earned a lot more credit than deserved. In the sleep mode it apparently measures blocks of inactivity. I have found that when my sleep is interrupted by activity, it does not combine the periods of less activity and only shows half of my sleep. While my wife continued to use hers, mine died and needed a new battery within the month. All in all, it does most of what I wanted it to do, so as soon as I get a new battery, I'll continue to use it.

I love that this product is water resistant since I love swimming and I wash my hands constantly at work. I love the versatility of being able to wear it several different ways and not just on my wrist like some products. Also the setup and use of this product is beyond easy!

Tracks activity, sleep and shows time by tapping. Comfortable to wear on wrist. Information from shine can be imported to Apple Health. I turned off the step tracking on Iphone so I don't double track. Misfit app is fine. Set up and syncs have been easy.

Love that you don't have to charge it every couple of days like others, user friendly feel that steps are more accurate than my Fit Bit was.

I've tried several fitness bands and this has been the one that I keep. Runs off a battery so I'm not charging the device every so often. I've had my product for about 5 months and I just had to change the battery but Misfit sent me a replacement which was awesome.

Only device you can swim with that is small. Downside is a the units are not standard it is the companies units but you get used to it. Holding the disk to the phone shows your progress in more detail thank the little lights around the perimeter of the disk.

Battery case was hard to open so I scratched device but you can't really tell. After a busy day at work, I think I've scratched color off buts quick clean proves me wrong. Got several compliments on it first day. Pretty accurate in comparison to y Fitbit.

This ended up being a return because the Android app didn't have near as much to offer as the iOS version, or other Android apps for similar products. The price was great, as well as the quality. And the fact that it was waterproof is really nice.

One of my biggest complaints with a fitness tracker is how much you have to charge. I am so happy that misfit does not need to be charged.

Had a bestbuy rewards coupon and used it for this purchased to replace my Fitbit. Been ok. Doesn't syncing info automatically. You manually have to do it from your phone. It looks nicer than the fitbit or other trackers

This little gadget works fine for me. I only want to know if I am moving. Bonus that it tracks my sleep and I know whether I am getting real rest. As most other reviews stated the Shine is easily lost. I resorted to using painters tape to secure it to my shoe while walking and exercising. I tape it to the wrist strap for daily wear so I don't lose it. Connects to MyFitnessPal for calorie counting. Serves my purpose.

I really like this device. It looks like a watch and monitors sleep and steps well. Price compares to a fitbit, and wears well. Wish could connect to a fitbit community.

First time user with something like this. Steps were easy to follow and app is user friendly. The shine isn't heavy at all and allows you to wear it any way! Love it!

If you're looking for a watch or a calorie counter, this is not the monitor for you. But it does a great job tracking both activities and sleep without requiring my thinking about it.

The shine has been a good first activity tracker. I wish I could set goals for number of steps as opposed to just time of activity. Over all this has been a good purchase.

Love it!! Very efficient, works wonders. Love that it's super easy to use & understand. Water proof is always a plus!!

The device is very nice looking and works as indicated. I feel it was a really good value for the price I paid and it gives you a nice incentive to get moving.
