I purchased the shine last year and it was great but it started to pop out of the rubber band. It popped out and got lost while cleaning the house and was never found. We bought a second Shine with a leather band in hops that it would hold the shine better. How ever it popped out of that band also. I would say be careful with watching where you put it,.

I have been using the device since the day input it. It works great and easy to use. I wish the software could be used on more than one device to display training results. Also I have had the device roll out of its rubber mounting 2 times but have been able to recover the unit.

I love that this product is water resistant since I love swimming and I wash my hands constantly at work. I love the versatility of being able to wear it several different ways and not just on my wrist like some products. Also the setup and use of this product is beyond easy!

I really like my Shine and it seems to be pretty accurate. Only complaint is that it doesn't mark my sleep schedule because I think it is programmed for regular people that sleep at night. I work graveyard and it does not mark my sleep, only when I sleep at night does it work correctly for sleep. Hopefully they fix this on an update.

The two things that drew me to the Misfit shine were the fact that a battery lasted 6 months but more importantly was that it is waterproof. The third was it's multiple wearing modes. I can do water aerobics, shower, swim or sweat in it and it keeps on working.

I really like this fitness activity tracker. It was easy to sync up for the first time and seems to do a good job. It doesn't matter where you wear it you still get the same number of steps. I wish it had a vibrate function that could be used as an alarm or as a motivator (i.e. Vibrates after a set amount of idle time)

Tracks activity, sleep and shows time by tapping. Comfortable to wear on wrist. Information from shine can be imported to Apple Health. I turned off the step tracking on Iphone so I don't double track. Misfit app is fine. Set up and syncs have been easy.

The Misfit Shine is a great, attractive and inexpensive activity tracker. It is uncomplicated and stylish. The app that works with it, simple and easy to use. The band isn't the greatest, but there are really nice upgrade options to buy, such as leather.

I received one as a gift and have not taken it off. I find it most helpful in tracking my sleep and to obtain your work-out goal every day. For the price, it does every I wanted it to do, looks great, and I like the fact I don’t need to charge the device.

Love the design, simple, easy to use. You have to double tap the device for display and many times it would not respond to tapping. I had to tap it pretty hard and wound up returning it to the store.

Love that you don't have to charge it every couple of days like others, user friendly feel that steps are more accurate than my Fit Bit was.

As an activity monitor, it is excellent. It does what it is supposed to do. I really like the fact that I can go swimming with it. My 2 main complaints are: first, there is no way I can share my runs on Facebook with my friends. And second, the extra bands for it are too freaking expensive.

The misfit shine is great. It's simple and easy to use. My only complaint is the clips. You have to be really careful with them because they don't take an awfull lot of abuse.

Was super easy to set up and start using. I forget I'm even wearing it. The info it collects is very informative and makes me more aware how much i am active(or inactive). It also has me more aware of my sleep cycles.

Great for keeping me on track with activity. Track sleep, steps, cycling and swimming. Sleep tracking gives you information about quality of sleep along with amount of sleep. Data is easy to evaluate however you must sinc it to your phone to see your progress. This takes only a few seconds to accomplish. Other wearable fitness trackers have a display such a number of steps. This one has lights that light up when you tap it to show your progress. Uses a watch battery and thus must be replace about every 6 months as the paper work states. It also has a feature that you can tell time, but I have not stopped wearing my standard watch. Have been wearing it full time for last 30 days without any problem. Originally wanted the Fitbit force, since it has been recalled I purchased this as a substitute. Will be buying a the new Fitbit next version when it is available, but I am very happy with this purchase.

great activity tracker. Much better than the cheaper flash. Stays securely in the mounts and tracks activity/sleep automatically very well. ONLY issue is that it's annoying to try to activate it (it's touch/accelerometer sensitive) instead of having a physical button.

I've tried several fitness bands and this has been the one that I keep. Runs off a battery so I'm not charging the device every so often. I've had my product for about 5 months and I just had to change the battery but Misfit sent me a replacement which was awesome.

Only device you can swim with that is small. Downside is a the units are not standard it is the companies units but you get used to it. Holding the disk to the phone shows your progress in more detail thank the little lights around the perimeter of the disk.

Fit my needs. I bought it to wear in the water - but - you can't see it outside. Would really rather have it count steps not points. Doesn't always sync well.
