This is the upgrade we've been looking forward to! Audio is now Dolby TrueHD (not remastered for Dolby Atmos) instead of lossy Dolby Digital. The 4K video makes the image pop better and grain is retained. The extras on the included Blu-ray is the same as the previous release. Highly recommended!

This was a great first movie for the film franchise. It has you guessing who the villain in the film is. The action scenes are great, as well the special effects moments. Definitely a must see film.

When they released all of the Mission Impossible movies on 4K, I was very excited. I had hoped to see something amazing, however, with the first movie, the 4K upgrade does not show. Have to keep in mind that the movie is 20 years old too. I hope that as the movies get newer, the quality in 4K improves as well...

I love getting my movies at best buy ,they have all older movies I cannot find any where else, they get here in a couple of days and they are all great condition

Directed by legendary auteur Brian De Palma (Untouchables), this initial entry in the long running series is rich in thrills and style. De Palma sacrifices flash bang for a smart noir slow boil that runs more like a classic murder mystery than a race from one car chase to another. More enjoyable than a perfectly baked chocolate chip cookie.

the perfect stakes, the perfect cast - amazing how the movie's big, final sequence wouldn't even be exciting enough to be included in the movies as we've come to know them today!

Mission Impossible is a great action movie of its time in the mid-1990's. The acting and action is well done for its time. The story can get a little convoluted and out of place, but in the end it satisfies and makes the movie feel complete. This is one of those movies where it continually launched Tom Cruise's career.

Not only was the first, original MI movie excellent, this new remaster takes it to a modern level with a 5 star video and audio rating ....... great picture and sound!!!

Had not watched this film in a while so I had to purchase the 4K version. The 1st film in the series and it did not disappoint many years later. If you are a fan of the series it is worth purchasing.

This film has a great cast and is the first film in the series. Overall it is a good film although compared to todays standards the special affects are a bit lacking. It does make you appreciate how great the more modern movies look. I enjoyed it and will watch it again.

for it being the first movie it was a actually good and not too over the top as the other ones turns out to become. this is pretty much boosted toms acting skills and his status. definitely recommend

The film that started the mission impossible film series. If you haven't seen this one out of the film series I would recommend it.

After years of watching a serviceable-but-not-great Blu-ray, it's terrific to finally have a stellar presentation for this film. Well worth the purchase, plus you get a 4K digital copy!

A great start to what’s turned out to be one of the best action series ever. Fun from the start this movie still has maybe the best finale of the series especially when the M:I theme revs up. The 4K pic. Is great.

Finally a remastered version of this film. The Blu ray before looked really bad picture wise. Worth the upgrade for sure

I had only seen this movie on DVD prior to the 4K version. All the reviews about the greatly improved video and audio quality in 4K are spot on. Well worth the purchase.

Excellent 4K restoration. If you had to pick one out of the series, then go with this classic cinema experience.
