13 version is better than that 2012 you have more control and realistic gameplay.the difference is I seen in this years version is when you're stealing bases you have the option to send your man back if you don't get a good jump on the ball also what I like is this year if you have a hit-and-run play and you make a mistake you could send your man back quicker to the base that you over ran compared to last year, both had pretty good graphics. I also like pitch selection and controls the to a roseshow when you do the pitch exactly right. funny thing is I'm not even a baseball fan when you play Madden football so much it is a nice change of pace play online with your buddies. very nice game overall keep up the good work.

Why only three stars, people? This is the best baseball game I've played even with Gary Thorne announcing the games...Even on easy modes it's very playable yet still challenging enough to aspire for higher levels. Fielding is pretty accurate. Hitting is pretty easy to figure out and when you can direct where you want to put the ball it changes the game. Lots of this game is won/lost with knowing the nuances of how to move a pitch late in the count or just when to take that extra base (baserunning is tricky at first then really fun). But that's what makes it great. I still have trouble trying to locate my pitches in single player mode which can be frustrating but it's loads of fun. Walk offs are especially cool.

I really wanted the updated rosters and switch of Astros to AL, so I like that. But the gameplay is really the same as last years, the commentary is pretty stale (if you played 2K12 a good deal), and I really do not think they put enough thought in the rating of quite a few players. I will enjoy it, but will put some work into re-rating many players.

This game although has great graphics and decent game play is just overall not good because of the same mistakes 2k sports seems to make every year. Calling guys the wrong names, gamecast is terrible with unrealistic outcomes, just the same flaws that have made the game frustrating for years. I finally bought a ps3 and play the show now.

I bought this for my 6 year old grand nephew & when I called him to find out how he likes it. He said its ok but it doesn't have levels..cute ;) i like games with levels because I'm good!

My son enjoys playing the game, he is 10 and the game is pretty realistic for a video game. For the price of the game I wish it had some better graphics. Don't know much about other sports games to compare it to, but he is happy with it.

bought this game so that i could keep up with the actual season this year. i normally only buy titles from 2k every other year, as they are generally the same game with very minor adjustments/upgrades. looks like they are trying to mimic apple's motto, charging a premium price for a title that probably is about a 20% upgrade of the previous years game.

Overall cool game but takes a while to get the hang of it. Tutorial is not too good at teaching you how to play

I think if you are looking for a fun sports game to play then this would be the game for you. If you like baseball then this game is a home run.

I purchased this game for nephew. It was the one game he wanted for his Xbox! He is an avid baseball player and was thrilled when he opened up the package! He has thanked me several times since he received it! I recommend it for all softball/baseball players or fans of the game!

This game was a gifts for my kids,grand-kids. They love it especially my grand kid. He already customize a player and its trying to make it to the major league level, he is having a lot of fun playing in the minors. who knows maybe playing the game he learn how to work hard if you want to become a major league r.

I enjoy playing. My brother and I play home run Derby. I am 70 and have been watching baseball on tv for years. Now I am "In the game". Great diversion.

Game was fun especially if u like baseball. Not recommended for young kids. To difficult to use for the first time. Use of the control to pitch, swing, and steal bases took some time to learn.

Very challenging for my 6 year old grandson, even on easiest level. A lot tougher for him than Madden football or NBA 2K13.

my kid loves it . just like the real thing but sitting on your butt. over all a fun game
