Overall for the price, the features that come with these cameras are a good deal. Other brands would charge more, especially with these having full pan and tilt. Works best in rooms like nurseries or any other low traffic area. Pros: - manual setup was easy - full pan and tilt. - can clearly hear when using the mic - picture/video quality isn't bad - command center view is great! It gives you the option to see 4 , 9, or 16 cameras at once. You can adjust angle from that view and also click to go straight to a certain camera. There is also an option to select all cameras tied to a certain room (living room, bedroom, etc.). - local storage via SD card - integration to Google Home app - provides decent video in darker rooms Cons: - bit of a delay when adjusting position of camera - hard to gauge how much to press an arrow to adjust the angle. - alerts when something is detected are a little delayed and some time alerts of false positives - Cameras max out at 720p wish the picture/video quality was a little better. Would've been great to have at least 1080p. - instructions to connect with Google Home was very confusing. It only had pictures and there was no way to zoom in to see them better. Written steps along with pictures and ability to make pictures larger would've been helpful.

MOBI - MobiCam is a great product!

I had been wanting an easy-to-use and unobtrusive camera in my house so that I could drop in my pet sitter, cleaners, and others who are in my home when I'm not there, and also to help keep track of the comings and goings of my teenagers. The MobiCam HDX definitely fills that need. It's small, very easy to set up, and takes high-quality video. With the app, the camera is easy to use, you can quickly and efficiently pan side to side and tilt up and down to make sure you're always able t see what you want to see. The app controls are very intuitive and quick to learn. You can also talk through the camera which is a neat function I've tested but have not had a chance to really use yet. I've got mine sitting on a small table, but for those who would want to mount the camera, everything is included. It seems like it would be really easy to add more cameras to this system and I'll probably be doing that soon. Anyone who is thinking about getting a camera like this should not hesitate to buy a MobiCam HDX!

Some pros and cons I've experienced are as follows: Pros: 1. Set up was easy. 2. No monthly fees. You can set it to record via motion, manual, or continuous to the Cloud or to a 32Gb MicroSD card (not included). 3. Whenever it detected motion, it recorded it for a few seconds on the app so you can take a look back at it. 4. The video quality is the best yet and the night vision is remarkable. Cons: 1. No manual to explain how to better use the app. 2. The space utilized for the icons could be smaller so they all fit on one screen without having to scroll.

For less than $50, the MobiCam HDX is a respectable offering for anyone looking for a basic baby or pet cam for their home. The setup process was a bit clunky but I got through it on the first try, at that point you can add other authorized users to your home if you wish. Image quality is pretty good and the device actually looks pretty nice sitting on my shelf compared to other home cams I've used. My biggest complaint is the pan and tilt - maybe I just haven't got the hang of this yet but trying to move the camera in the app effectively is almost impossible, it's far too sensitive! Making even the smallest swipes on your phone app causes the camera to pan almost 90 degrees, I have yet to figure out how to make fine adjustments so at this point it pretty much is just a stationary camera which works for my use case but is not what I expected. In this price range Mobi's is a fair choice and seems about on par with other similar priced cameras, but it would take some much better firmware and controls for me to consider moving this to 5 star territory.

Hello Jsich17, thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your feedback on the device you purchased. For moving the camera around, the sensitivity of how much it turns is dependent on the sensitivity of the mobile device controlling it. We recommend trying with a tablet or another device and see if that makes a difference in the control.

I use this camera to watch my pet when I'm gone. My dog has a few hang-out spots, and the ability to pan and tilt the camera in the app is essential for covering a wide area. It's also loads of fun. I'll find myself snapping pictures and recording videos of my dog. It's refreshing that the captured media files have the option to go straight to your phone or on an SD card, rather than forcing you to a cloud subscription. I also enjoy the camera's round pill look, as I prefer that to the blocky square build of other monitors. The camera is quiet when it moves and a perfect purchase to monitor a pet.

Easy set up with QR codes. I also have the stationary camera. This pan and tilting is slick once you get the hang of it. It is quite sensitive for the tracking when you are using the pan and tilt. Otherwise this camera is amazing. Now I have 5 of these cameras.lastly the only thing I didn’t like was the loud click when it goes from day to night mode. Does this even when your just turning a light on and off.

Great value! I bought this to be a second baby monitor so I didn’t want a second screen. The Mobi was perfect because you just use your phone and the Mobi app. Set up was fairly easy just make sure you have 2.4 Ghz WiFi. I was able to pause my 5Ghz channel to allow the Mobi an easier time to connect to the 2.4 Ghz. I highly recommend buying the HDX over the regular model. For an extra $10 you get a much wider viewing angle and easier adjustments.

I had been wanting a camera set-up like this for a while now and when I found this three-camera system for a very reasonable price, I made the purchase. Set-up was pretty easy. Once you have them connected to power and you've downloaded the app, you hit the "reset" button on the first camera. Once you hear "Waiting to connect", you place it about 15-20 cm from the QR code on your phone and then it tells you when it's connected. Then repeat for cameras two and three. As a guy who doesn't do much in metric, the hardest part of set-up was figuring out how far 15-20 cm is. Seriously. So, suffice it to say, set up is super simple and is by far one of the easiest web-enabled app-driven pieces of technology I've had to set up. Camera control is equally simple and intuitive so you can pan around the area with ease and accuracy. The picture resolution is excellent. The cameras are small and unobtrusive and blend right in on any shelf. Everything you need is in the box except for the pin you need to hit the reset button on the cameras during set-up, but a straightened-out paperclip worked just fine. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend them to everyone who is looking for in-home cameras to monitor little ones or for security.

Everything works great on this Cam. I like that it has a micro SD slot because I’m not big on my home being uploaded to “a cloud”. I can see the entire room simply by touching the feed within the app and moving your finger up, down, sideways. It is very sensitive so you only need to swipe just a tad. The price point is a great value, especially if you buy the multi-camera packages.

These cameras are awesome! They came very well packaged with everything you need to set up. The set up was super easy through their app. Using each function of these cameras is really user friendly. The only thing that I noticed is the cameras do not always adjust well to bright light coming from windows. Otherwise, I’m really happy with these!

Some pros and cons I've experienced are as follows: Pros: 1. Set up was easy. 2. Motion, manual, or continuous recording to the included 32Gb MicroSD card or to the Cloud. 3. Notifications are sent as soon as motion is detected, so you can quickly view it. 4. The video quality is the best yet and the night vision is remarkable. 5. You can add a crap ton more cameras. 6. You can view four cameras at a time in Quad view. Cons pertain to the app itself rather than the cameras: 1. No manual to explain all the different features of the App. 2. To change from single view to Quad view, tap the little underlined donut in the top right corner (pic #1). 3. The “Edit” is a tiny icon in the top right corner (pic #2). 4. When in Quad view, the camera’s direction joystick is barely visible (pic #2), unlike in single camera view (pic #3). 5. The rectangle space utilized for each icon could be smaller so they all fit on one screen without having to scroll (pic #4).
