This cable is so cool. It has animated LED lighting running throughout the cable as it charges your phone. I have an LG Bluetooth wireless headset that I can also charge with it, but because it doesn't draw that much power it doesn't light up the cable. =( Still a very cool cable for around $20.

All I can say is that this cord is amazing. An excellent investment. The construction is very durable it hasn't broken yet. I get multiple compliments on the coolness factor from the moving lights. The cord also charges my phone faster than most. I highly recommend this cord.

I bought this charger for my Kindle fire. This charger has beautiful effects that are mesmerizing. The cord lights up as it charges your device. The lights produce a swirly affect that is entertaining to watch. I bought the green one and it lights up in blue. Overall this device does it's job when used correctly. The neat thing about this charger is that you can tell that your device is almost fully charged, because the motion of the lights begin to slow down as your battery fills up with juice.

This is a replacement to my original purchase that failed. I am still quite happy with the product but did reduce my second review by 1 star because of the defect. It charges as fast as the charger and device allow and provides a useful visual to see how much time is left to charge without having to look at the device. This is a plus for those of us that require reading glasses! The replacement process was a bit cumbersome until I determined that this is a Best Buy exclusive item and the warranty is facilitated through the Geek Squad. Once the Geek Squad realized their part in the warranty process, the manager authorized the exchange. Had my original version of the product failed before the return window of Best Buy it would have been simpler but now knowing the process, it should not be a problem if I or another buyer has problems with the product within the 1 year warranty.

This chord is GREAT!! The light up feature is perfect for when I charge my phone at night, or when I want to know if my tech item is fully charged or not at a distance. It is a solid well built cord. Not flims like others, instead very good quality. Friends and family all want this cord and are wow'ed when they see it charge their device. Granted I have had it for a month, it is not a "lifetime use" review, but a "monthly day-to-day use" review. I can see where people wished it were a longer chord, but for me, it is the perfect length. It does its job extremely well! Buy it, you won't regret it!

Quality product! I am very satisfied with how it functions; doubles as a night light that helps put my kids to sleep, and charges my phone, box mod and other related electronic devices. It visually displays the power flow/current of the charge through the length of the cable as it travels from a USB port/charger to the electronic device being charged(rapidly), and slows down its flow/current once the device is fully charged, ending the light show! Overall, this product receives 5 stars! They are also available in different colors. In my case, I chose the blue cable. It was so cool to the eye, I ended up buying 2!

This was a charging cable that was not only highly effective in charging, but VERY cool to look at. The length was PERFECT!! But my only issue was that the cord broke right where the large UBS plugs into the AC adapter. I held it together for about two to three weeks before I replaced it with a basic charger. Overall, this was a great cord. Despite it breaking after four months of GOOD use, I will definitely buy it again. The price, length, and quality were VERY GOOD!

I had a lot of my friends and family tell me to buy the actually Amazon USB wire since there is always an issue with the Kindle having black screen's when using any other USB wire. Well I prove them wrong and I bought this.No black screen or issues with this wire,I used it for about 2 months now and still nothing wrong with my kindle.Love it too! The wire lights up when charging ,plus the lights turn off to let you know its fully charge too! My family all have Kindle's and since I lost mine last time I made sure to get a USB wire that was sure to say that it was mine.

I bought this cable to give to a friend but when I plugged it in at night in the car, I was so surprised how cool it looks, I this cable and bought another one for my friend. The lights in the cable run continuously while plugged in to my electrical device. I also like the fact the the lights slow down and stop when the device is fully charged. I would highly recommend this product to everyone - especially if you charge your electrical devices on your nightstand because it gives an extra nightlight and makes it easy to find your devices at night.

I got this so that I would be able to charge my phone in a dark room. The effect is cool, but I would keep this cable at home for a couple of reasons. One: it is a cool effect to watch (trailing LEDs as the phone charges) so you will get the "Can I borrow it?" question from your co-workers, which means you will have to retrieve it when the time comes. Two, while well-made, it is a plastic cable: if you want to recharge your phone at work (and who doesn't?) I would recommend a nylon-based cable as they are more durable and tend to be longer in length.

this is my favorite brand of light up cable. It definetly turns heads and is not to flashy. it looks as if the lights are running down the cable and into your phone to charge it! lacking a star because i know from past experience these cables are not built for abuse and the LED's will stop working if you bend or play with it roughly. other than that i def recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of product!

I picked up one because is looked interesting, but it turned out to be very practical. The "running lights" show the speed your device is charging. They slow to a crawl when nearly done. I use BATTERY Dr. app on my phone while charging and the visual effect of the cable keeps me from over-charging my phone! Since I cannot change my battery, I must be careful NOT to over-charge. I have given two for presents and have gotten many "Thank-you's". My only regret is that the cable is not 6" longer. But this is still a winner!

This won't make your phone charge any faster, but every time I plug it in, it's just cool to look at. When I made it the wire for my wireless charging station, the look was complete. My only concern is that I don't think it will be super durable, so a fixed location like a charging station is ideal. Gave 3 of these away as Christmas gifts. No one needs one - but everyone likes it as a useful gift!

I bought this wire to replace my damaged phone charging cable on my Note 4. I have been using this in my car to charge my phone because I can see it in the dark and not forget my phone by accident when charging. This wire has been used for most of this year and still looks new. The casing is sturdier than others I have used as replacements. The light effect is a very nice touch that makes it perfect out of the ordinary product in my opinion.

This light up cord is is smart charging cord to protect the phone batter. it stops when the phone reaches 100 percent charge. To protect my phone batter I try to keep it between 40 and 80 percent. other cables keep putting current to the phone even after 100 percent charged this one does stop and restart so you shouldn't overcharge the battery causing damage. The lights make it easy to know when you have a full charge into the battery at a glance.

Really, any USB connector is the same as all the others that look like it. To be different the Modal illuminates when power is running through it. It's a nifty display that races when charging your device hard, and slows as the charge builds up (stopping when fully charged). Do you need it? Not necessarily. Is it cool and fun to watch? Sure it is.

Was traveling for work and needed a new cord to charge my phone. Stock appeared low at the store I stopped at. Wasn't keen on the flashing lights but bought it anyway. Turns out, I actually like the lights to show that my phone actually is charging. The cord is more heavy and appears to be more durable than other cords I've had....and, best of all, my teenage kids are jealous of it and want their own. ;)

The cord could be longer. Our cat who has spent a decent amount of time outside was freaked out by the lights. She stared at it without coming close to it for a while. We are pretty sure she thought it was a snake since the lighting effect resembles one moving. She got used to it and has taken to tugging at it a bit.

I was a little skeptical at first on how this would work. When you plug it in nothing happens till you plug a device into it and it starts charging. If the device has a smart charger and turns off when your battery hit 100% it will go off. It will only glow when the device is charging. It looks cool and works great!
