We're really enjoying the two antennas that we purchased for our TVs, the only local channels that we can't seem to get on any floor of our home is NBC.

This was easy to set up with me new Roku TV. I haven't used it a whole lot yet, but it is pulling in decent reception for at least a few channels while lying flat on the desk my TV is sitting on. I plan to install it on the wall behind the TV but at least in my case placement doesn't seem to be crucial.

Tried this out. Hooked the cable to the TV and ran it up in the window and stuck it in place. It pulled in all kinds of Asian & other foreign channels which I don't want. Only got a few local channels. Reception wasn't that good either. Was only 12 miles from downtown where signals originate. $69 for that? No thanks. I returned it. It also looks ugly stuck up in the window with that cable hanging down.

Bought this one, and a bigger, higher rated no-name brand off Amazon.
Firstly, as an indoor antenna, you're still going to fight to get the best signal (esp if like me, you in the Bay Area, the transmitter towers are blocked and in different locations)
This one is however much better in terms of the # of channels it picks up and the quality of the signal. Returned the no-name brand

It gets some of the local broadcast channels. I’m not sure if it doesn’t get NBC because it’s a bad antenna or if it’s because NBC dials way down on their signal strength whenever there is something on worth watching like any march madness, or the Olympics.

I don't want cable TV, it's just too expensive and one purchase of this and we can watch basic channels and a few extras and that's all I want, thanks Best Buy
