I get all the local stations and some. The antenna is positional so you definitely need to reposition it a few times to find a sweet spot! I am cutting out cable TV now.

doesn't work in my apt

So for me it's going back to the store.

Finding the right place to receive a good signal is key. I moved my antenna several times before I found a place where I could receive consistent signals.

It works but not better than my roof antenna.

However it was not as good so I went back to the old antenna. This is simple and works as an antenna but I feel that there are better solutions.
