He tried it in different places in his dorm like the paper said but still only caught maybe 10 channels and no local channels for the news and weather

I do not have cable nor a box to be able to access the local channels. This works great! Only a few minor things, I can’t seem to pick up the abc channel. Also wish it wasn’t so large, the pins could be a little bit more firmer.

It works great for friends of mine but where we live the reception is very poor and so i couldn't hey any decent channels (not even ABC) but we do live I the mountains In the country! So we returned ours! If you have better signal I think you'll be fine!

I moved the antenna to different areas (even closer to the window) and there was no difference. I am in the Chino Hills area (1 block away from the 60 and 71 freeways).
