Terrible product. Does not have near the range that is advertised. A waste of money. I installed it in the attic at the highest peak and pointed it at the towers near Tampa. I could get maybe 12 -20 miles before the signal dropped off and no further antennas were found beyond that.
It’s been up there for two years now and we never use it.

Brand response from Mohu Customer Service

Hello Greg, We are sorry to hear you had an issue with the Mohu Leaf 50. It's likely there is an obstruction blocking signals after 20-miles. We recommend that you move the antenna to another location in the attic and rescan the TV for channels. Digital TV signals are not the same as they were back in the day when it was analog signals. UHF signals do not bend around objects and can be blocked by tall buildings, and Hi-VHF is more bendy so it will go around objects better. We always recommend moving the antenna a few times and scanning for TV channels to see if you can pick up the signals that are farther away. Please try this and give us a call if we can help. We are available 7 days a week and you can chat with a rep on gomohu.com or give us a call at 877-825-5572 M-F 9am to 7pm or on weekends 10am to 6pm CST.

This is truly a plug and play device. It’s small and flat enough I was able to tuck it behind the tv so no one is the wiser. It did not require any tweaking or adjusting.

I bought this model because of it’s amplified “50” mile range. I guess we must be in a low spot about 30 miles out. Couldn’t get any reception and returned it

Was told about this product by a friend. Was not sure if it would work or not. To my surprise it worked great. It saved us money by not having to pay more money to the cable company.

Good indoor antenna. Make sure you use the power cord. You have to get it closer to a window if possible. As soon as I did that I was able to find 47 channels.

Plugged it in, scanned the air, and 30 channels appeared. I may can do better with placement experiments, but it already gives me more than what I bought it for, so we’re good!

I am using this indoor amplified leaf antenna indoors. I am located within walking distance to the Connecticut River at the base of a mountain in Massachusetts and I receive stations as far away as Hartford, CT (55 miles away). It took a bit of searching but I found a "sweet spot" on the wall above the TV where I will mount it behind a picture. No need to mount an antenna in the attic like we used to in our last home. I am receiving 36 channels ( such as 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, and 65.1, 65.2, 65.3........etc.). Everything else we stream via the internet on our smart TV.

The day I installed this antenna my cable went out.
Came in real handy. I think the higher you install it in your house the more channels you will get!

I was skeptical and purchased this product knowing it probably wouldn't work as I'm about 55 miles from a large metropolitan area. I'm sure I would be told that I am out of range but it advertises 60 miles on the box. I was only able to receive one major network channel. It seems like a quality product, was not too expensive or difficult to setup. I would only recommend this product to anyone living within a major metropolitan area.

After connecting the antenna to my TV I realized it didn’t work any better than my older antenna. Plus I didn’t like that it was so flimsy. I returned it to the store. Perhaps it would work better for someone else.
