Don't expect any miracles...a tad overpriced. I think a less expensive device would achieve the same results.

We bought this to go with our Vizio tv, only to later learn that our TV does not have a port for an antenna. Check your TV before you buy!

You pay a premium for the "amplified" version of this antenna, but the amplifier is next to useless. It is a small, cheap looking plastic device with a coax input and output, and a small usb cable coming out of it. There is no way to tell if the amplifier is actually doing anything. There are no power lights or any other indications on it. I got exactly the same number of channels with and without the amplifier attached. Also, even the most cursory research will reveal that an amplifier has to be placed at the antenna end of the cable so that only the antenna signals get amplified and not the noise from the cable, splitters, connectors, etc. The connector gender on the amplifier forces you to install the amp at the TV end of the cable. The product feels cheap, is poorly designed, and has that "it might work one or two days past the warranty period" feel to it that now seems to characterize the American product market. I think that, for $5 - $10 this might have been an OK purchase.

Only got junk channels. Not sure why it wouldn't get the local network channels. Maybe too far away for this to pick them up
