Sometimes over-amplification can occur if you are in a short distance from the towers and it is not needed. It is also important to remember to place the antenna as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception, and re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved to a different location. Now I am left trying to decide if I should try a different make and model.

Way less than my RCA MAT0007 "Shark fin" amplified antenna, which gets 28 channels. I used the new cabling with my RCA and stuck this piece of junk in a cabinet.

This was no different; no reception. The positive here is that due to my Best Buy rewards status, they gave me a full refund & no questions asked.

We had more foreign language channels than we did English or local tv stations but if you’re wanting to see those then I’d say buy this one and if not then don’t buy it you’ll be wasting your time and money.
