After cutting the cord and relying on streaming, we invested in the antenna to view local channels without cable costs. Works very well overall!

This product is very similar to most over the air digital antennas on the market as far as getting it set up. You plug in the amplifier to the wall, plug the antenna into the amplifier and then from the amplifier into your TV. Its as simple as that! Then you go into your TV and select over the air and then scan for new channels. Its as easy as that! Next, I will get into the performance. I know that everyone's performance will vary depending on how far away from a tower you are and the topography and things like that in your area, but this is my experience. We are roughly 30 miles away from the tower in a major city, and then about another 30 miles away from a smaller tower in a smaller major city. I have tried other antennas in this area and they have been hit or miss. Sometimes they work OK, but a lot of times they will get choppy as the signal fades in and out. With this one, I haven't seen any of those problems yet. It easily picks up all of the local channels and then some. It found 26 channels here to be exact. All of them come in with a good strong signal. We even have this antenna in our basement (walk out basement) and its not near any windows or anything and we are getting that good of performance. I am very satisfied with this antenna...it works great for us! The only thing I dont like about it is the size, but I guess in order for it to pick up signals at such a distance it needs to be bigger than your average antenna. You will definitely want to hide it behind your tv and keep it out of sight. Other than that...its a very solid antenna that picks up lots of channels for us from very far away!

This is a great antenna that fits flat to the wall and is super easy to install. The antenna has two sides, one black and one white. Either side can be faced outward to fit your home decor or you can paint over the white side for a totally discreet look. The antenna can be mounted to your wall with the included push pins or can be mounted to a window with the included Velcro stickers. The Mohu website says that I should get 15 channels in my zip code area / street address, but I was only able to pick up 11 channels. I've tried 3 different positions over the course of a week, reprogramming the television channels each time I move it, but every position I try only gives me 11 channels. This is the same amount of channels I used to get with a cheaper antenna that I already own but I will stick with the Mohu since it's much more discreet and can plug into my television USB port for power. Even though I'm 4 channels short of what I thought I would get I still really like this antenna and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to install, discreet antenna that can be powered with your television USB port.

This was just as pricey as other attic or roof mounted antennas, but it didn't get nearly as many channels include several only a few miles away. Don't bother with it.

Its nothing special. It picks up a few digital channels and is handy in a storm because I can get the news. But dont expect to get all channels, and it is really sensitive to weather.

This is a pretty good antenna, I think it's better than paying for cable. Works good most of the time, do get interference but I think that's the mountains.

    Great Design, Some Limitations

The Mohu Leaf Supreme is a sleek flat antenna with an amplifier. The Leaf comes with everything you need to get started, including 20ft of cable, USB amplifier, USB wall wart, mounting options, and basic instructions. What’s great about the Mohu Leaf is it’s design. It’s a flat easily placeable design. It’s designed to be indoors, but it’s two toned (one side is black, the other is white) design makes it easy to blend into most rooms. You can place it behind a picture, or hide it in a window. It comes with velcro that can be adhesed or push pins that can be pressed into drywall through the two small holes on either side of the top of the antenna. The amplifier portion plugs close to the TV marking setup a breeze. Specifically the amplifier is powered by a USB connection - and per Mohu’s setup documentation, you can simply plug the amplifier into a unused USB port on your TV and it’ll be powered on automatically with your TV. It also includes a wall-wart in case your TV lacks a free USB port. As for results - like any flat antenna design, it’s geared towards the UHF band which is more popular in DTV transmissions than the VHF frequencies that some stations are assigned. Specifically in the Richmond VA area, there are a few channels that are notoriously hard to pick up. The Leaf does a decent job with the strongest of these, but on my first-floor installation I’m not able to pick up the lower powered PBS station without considerable blocking on a semi-frequent basis. I wouldn’t fault the Leaf for this, but it does show the weakness of this type of design. Most would prefer the Leaf over a large set of rabbit ears adjacent to their flat panel TV. I’d like to pair this with a Silicondust tuner at some point, which could then free up placement to be on my 2nd floor, which may make a difference for some of those weaker stations. I did play with placement. The further I moved it away from my flat panel TV, the better the sign got. This is probably due to it being a large metallic object, which interferes with signal. This may disappoint some hoping they could just shove this behind their wall mounted tv and have it work. Perhaps for some it would be just fine, but I did not get reliable enough signal, even with the antenna mounted in a window facing the transmission direction of most of the stations. Moving it away, I was able to get much stronger signal. The Mohu Leaf is a great amplified antenna. The design is very sleek and the amplified strength makes this useful in many locations. If you live in a metro area, it may be a bit of overkill, but if you live on the outskirts of a metro, it’ll ensure you maintain strong signal.

This TV antenna works well for an indoor unit. Reception is good, except for during really BAD weather and then it may get a little sketchy.

Item has failed. Much pixellation and performance lesser than a $25 RCA rabbit ear unit. Fewer stations accessed than the cheaper unit as well, go figure.

Purchased this antenna hoping to receive the stations in Columbus. It did not pick up a signal from any of the stations even though I am within the range that the manufacturer stated it would work. I did receive a signal from the Zanesville station which is 15 miles away. It just didn't do what I needed.
