A new IP lending itself to those of the JRPG series with a shin megami / Persona type feel in a 3d environment. The music is excellent and the mood is very dark as is the graphical style. The strategy is interesting enough to give it its own feel but basic enough to understand. The enemies are cool and look very different but not overly hard. A solid RPG if you are looking into trying a new game.

Overall, a pretty good game but I was expecting a lot more from the people involved with the SMT games. The story is entertaining, but the lack of enemy diversity is apparent.

Absolute garbage boring lifeless repetitive bland the only thing that I enjoyed was the art direction and music which is amazing but yeah avoid if you must

Good but not great JRPG. I got this for $30. The original $60 cost was way over priced but would recommend it for $30. It’s marketed well with the “deluxe edition” naming and the art booklet included. The added items are nice but don’t let persuade you to buying it. Turn based gameplay is fun and story is interesting but overtime it gets repetitive. It’s worth trying it but there are better JRPGs out there.

Very fun and engaging, though it does gets a tad tedious towards endgame.

im a big fan of jrpg, and each one is unique in it own way. i tried it and enjoy the unique take this jrpg has.

For Persona fans, Monark is definitely worth a look... but this isn't likely to live up to your SMT expectations. It's definitely worth playing, just pick it up at a discount.
