    Fantastic Bluetooth Earbuds

I was hesitant to buy these due to the lack of pretty much any reviews (apart from the glowing praise here) across the internet. However, these are by far the best bluetooth earbuds I have owned. Before these I had the backbeat go2 and then then the backbeat fit. the Go2's would not stay in the ear well and died frequently (BestBuy protection plan FTW). The Fit's were extremely uncomfortable, did not get loud enough , and didn't have sound isolation. I do have to say that the Fit's were very well built and might work for you, but not me. Then these Adidas buds - amazing! The ear hooks work extremely well and can hold up to extremely rigorous exercise and are quite comfortable. Sound quality is great. The cord seems rather weak, but we'll see how it holds up. I highly recommend getting a protection plan, as bluetooth earbuds have a tendency to bite the dust and batteries fade over time. Also, these do not protrude from the ears as much as the Go2's did, making me look less like Frankenstein's monster.

    Great headphones when working.

I purchased these headphones after reading the bestbuy reviews. At the time there were 12 and the product had a 4.8 rating. I love the headphones and have for the three weeks they worked. Today they won't turn on and won't take a charge, I will be returning these for another pair to give them one more try. I hope they work great for a lot longer this time.

Surprisingly good sound, longevity is a concern

After opening the box, the first thing I noticed was how flimsy the cord that connects the two earbuds together was. The plastic casing for the controls/buttons really did not scream "high quality" either. But when I put them on for the first time and started the music, my jaw dropped. This headset puts out a very impressive clarity and power, especially on the lows and bass. They have quite possibly the best audio quality I experienced in this class/type of headsets (i.e. in-ear, bluetooth/sport), and I have tried many. The bass is almost too much, depending on the music you're listening to, and can get muddled and lose definition in high volumes. The ear tips are pretty good, and are the secret weapon of this headset for the bass it produces. They provide a good seal and they're relatively comfortable to wear in your ear canal. Then there's the ear wings, which I don't really care for. I find only the Bose ear wings work well for me and I think the rest of them (who cannot exactly replicate Bose's due to patents) are more gimmicks than functional. The biggest downside of this headset for me, ironically, is the same thing that provides the good audio and the bass, the ear tips. When they're in your ear, they're all the way in with a very good seal, which means you hear everything that touches the cord, you hear every sound in your body, even your own breathing, and you hear almost nothing from the outside. This is not necessarily a deal breaker when the music is on and is loud, but it is something to consider. You could also step down to a smaller ear tip/looser fit, and get rid of that "sealed off" feeling, at the expense of some bass. I expect that these buds will have hard time coping with the workout/sports conditions. I hope they last a long time, I will be pleasantly surprised if they do. I might even update my rating to 5 stars. When all things considered, they're really a hidden gem for $99. If you care more about sound quality with accentuated bass, and not much worried about its "sports performance", then this is your pair.

    Very Dissapointed

I ended up purchasing these right after they had come out since it specifically marketed for the active lifestyle. The second time I used them they stopped working. I really liked them, so I exchanged them for an identical pair, thinking that by some chance I may have purchased a fluke. So I ran with them and within the first 15 min. they stopped working. So i returned them! I think it has something to do with the amount of sweat i produce while exercising. While I believe that the earphones are waterproof the control panel that hangs directly below the right headphone might not be and is susceptible to sweat.

    Terrible

These headphones didn't even make it through one workout for me. I sweat a lot so when I put them behind my head the volume control part got wet and the music stopped and the device probably stopped working because of it. I thought these are supposed to be water resistant. Apparently it isn't the same thing as sweat resistant. Thought that maybe the battery just died but now it won't even start charging. I tried charging it multiple times in multiple USB ports and nothing. Would NOT recommend this to a friend or even an acquaintance for that matter.

    I tried - they failed.

I'm a runner...a sweaty runner. The sales associate said any earbuds with that little inner ear flap-thingy are supposed to be the best and won't slip out of my ear. When I sweat, they slipped right out, even after adjusting the ear pad and inner ear flap sizes. I just remember cursing violently after each time they fell off during a 5 mile run! The sound quality seemed pretty well, when they did stay in my ear... I returned these things and bought the Jabra Step Wireless Earphones, for about $20 less. I'll let you know how those work out...

    Great sound...not sweatproof

I was excited to get these to finally join the wireless headphone realm. The primary reason to buy after wireless was "sweatproof". Unfortunately they are not that. The inline controls have always given me trouble with previous headphones and the same here. The sound, fit, and function are excellent, but if you sweat a lot when working out don't expect them to last. Mine went less than 1 month.

    Great Sport Headphones

I use these headphones when I go to the gym and they are perfect! They don't fall out, ever, they are sweatproof, and they seal your earcanal so you don't have to play your music super loud! Set up was easy and it is very easy to use. My only problems are that after wearing them for about an hour and a half they start to hurt only slightly. Also it does seal your ear canal so everything around you sounds muffled. Other than that these were great!!

    Garbage

I read the reviews on these headphones before purchasing and I am still disappointed. I've gone through two pairs of these now. Fortunately, I purchased insurance on these so I can exchange them for a third time. I sweat a lot and it seems that the volume control part breaks from the moisture. The sound quality is decent, but the build is bollocks.

I would of gaven it 5 stars but my heaphones stopped working after like 1 month. The sound is really good but didnt last that long. And also after a while of use my ears started hurting. They need to improve the ear tips like to silicone or simething more soft.

    No Bass At All

Really disappointed in these. Read all the reviews and got them for xmas and they sound worse than my $10.00 Phillips wired ear buds. They are easy enough to hook up, that's why I gave them two stars instead of one, but literally no bass. Very disappointed, will be returning.

    Stopped pairing within a week

It stopped pairing after 3 days. I tried pairing with different devices (iphone and ipod) that were pairing before. The light doest not blink anymore, its multicolor when I press and hold multifunction button for 5 sec (although it says "pairing"). I sent Monster an email, but they didnt respond. Terrible consumer service.
