The outer jacket over the conductor cables makes it lay/hand very straight. I had much less trouble tucking this cable into corners and carpet than I have had with other types of cable. Of course the sound quality is excellent as well.

Yes, this cable is expensive. In the long run, it is definitely worth buying. Setting it up with my home theatre wasn't hard at all.

Bought this to replace some Platinum Monster Cable speaker wire I've had for about 20 years for my surround speakers. Product information on BestBuy.com was quite lacking, but because of the Deal Of The Day sale price, I bought it. Was very surprised to see the that the upgrade to Black Platinum utilizes wrapping strands of wire around itself to help eliminate interference, similar to the Kimber Kable I use for my main speakers. Considering how so much audio equipment sold today can't even hit the HI-FI standards from the 1950s, and so many people only utilize their MP3 players, it's doubtful that those users would be able to get a benefit from this. But if you've got quality equipment, the best way to improve it's sound quality is by using quality wiring. After all, your system will only sound as good as the lowest performing component.

Excellent product from Monster Cable. As with all their products, it does not dissapoint. Quality product, sure you could pay less, or you could pay more !! Great product. No faults, except the price. Guess I was dumb enough to buy it, though. I was using this in an outside application, so I wanted the extra sheathing wrap around the positive/negative twists. No problems, just pretty expensive for wire.

This stuff lives to the name we trust. Premium wire, Great shielding. Little pricy but worth it. If it was slightly cheaper I would have given it 5 stars.

Good wire thought it was a little thicker but it has good sound quality. Only downside I'm pretty much color blind and it was hard to tell the pink insulator over the clear one.

This is the only line for me. Great transfer, clear sound production, no hiss or crackling sound. Makes movies and music sound the way it should be.

You can go wrong with the Monster Copper speaker wire. Superb quality and I got more than 50% off the original price at Best Buy.

Used this speaker wire for my in ceiling wireless bose speaker works great and sounds awesome compared to the 1000 dollar speakers they have out there

Appreciate the double sheilding, this appears to be 16-gauge, but should work great for surround speakers.

Denon makes great products. Everything was hooked up within 30 minutes and worked great with no fiddling. Connected to my home network and I was off and running.

Would of been a 5 star, but the writing on the plastic coating is hard to see and makes it a little difficult to connect to the right input/output.

This may be high dollar speaker wire but it's worth every penny! As usual, high quality Monster products.
