I own ATH-M50 and due to their not so good design, I wanted to buy something that looked better and would hold onto my skull while I am out in the gym or something. I was looking at the headphones available in the market that look decent and sound good as well and are not over expensive as the beats series or bose [but bose delivers far more superior quality than beats at that price]. I came across the Diesel Vektr headphones by Monster and I have to say, I am impressed. They look super cool - even better than beats - just that they come in only white and black colors. Their sound is also pretty good - I enjoy heave base music and these do the job pretty well. They also fit very nicely on my head and dont fall off even when I am running on a treadmill. Overall, I am pleased to own these headphones.

I must start by saying I never been a fan of wearing Over/On ear headphones, but I decided to give the a try to these ones just because I found them a little bit cheaper than the original price, and because they look pretty nice. I first tried the Beats Solo but since I don't listen to that much Hip-Hop, I felt that they had too much bass for me. Then I tried the DNA's, and I like the sound better because the bass was solid, and not overwhelming, So I assumed that the Diesel VEKTR would have the same sound quality as the DNA's just a little bit more pricey because of the design and the Diesel Collaboration. I must say that they do look real nice. The design and details are beautiful. When you try them on, make sure you look for the R and L on the sides of the ear pads, and don't go for the shape of the headphones because most likely you will wear the backwards like I did for the first 2 minutes. After I put them correctly, and wore them for 20 mins I was surprised with how comfortable they are. I have a 5 hours trip in two weeks so that would be the real test for me. The sound is very good, clear with very good bass, but I would not pay $249.99 for these headphones. I would rather stay with my Monster Turbine Pearl, and save the money. Maybe after I'm done with the burning process and see how they feel after having them on for more than an hour I could change my mind. I was disappointed by the fact that the control talk DOES NOT have volume buttons. Also the case is not that protective at all. Its a beautiful and well designed case, but it will not protect these headphones at all. Overall, I recommend them if you can find the for less than $249.99 because they do sound great, they are very comfortable and very stylish. But if you love bass, you might want to go with the beats solo or find another option.
