Best monster Hunter yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a fan of the monster Hunter series games. This one is by far their best to date. I love the game play in the way the storyline and functionality is improved. I would suggest to play this on the Wii-U as playing on a 3DS XL is a little limiting.

Great game but need time to play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great game and it definitely sucked me in. The learning curve is a bit steep and to make any progress you definitely need to put the time in. That's not bad but just a heads up this isn't Mario Kart where you can play for twenty minutes and put it down.

Great must have for the 3DS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New to Monster Hunter series and picked this up with the New 3DS. This game is epic. The dialogue is funny. The graphics look great with or without 3D. The gameplay is very addicting! What else can you ask for a 3DS title! I been playing for 12 hours and I can't wait to dive back in. The online multiplayer is a nice touch when you start feeling a little tired of the story mode. Grab some friends and start slaying giant monsters and get epic loot!

One Monster of a Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so captivating. You try a few quests, and next thing you know, you've been playing for hours. It's very hard to put down. I enjoy all the many large monsters there are to slay. I also like that you can jump on them and stun them if done correctly. I also love that Capcom did away with water levels. I was never fond of the swimming and trying to slay monsters while doing so. This game will keep you busy for many months to come.

Great RPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great RPG. If you're looking for a mobile action/RPG experience you can share with friends, this is it. This is my first Monster Hunter experience so far and I'm having a blast. Solo play is fun but its even better with friends.

Tons of content
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first monster hunter game and while it has some learning curve, it was easy to pick up with the in game tutorials and has been smooth since. My favorite part of the game is it's multi-player mode where you fight against monsters together. If you are on the fence about getting this game, I'm telling you to get it. You won't be disappointed.

ITS MONSTER HUNTER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you never played this tem before, you`re in for a massive and terrible addiction. The central idea of the game is to collect gears (armors and blades). Its good to play and you feel improving. It`s like you are gaining the experience points for your self and not for the game`s character. Buy it. The begginig is linda slow, but after 2 hours, you will understand how this game is so loved by its fans.

Thrilling Experience Hunting Monsters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Monster Hunter Game so I am new to the series. After playing this game for a few weeks I have enjoyed the level of progression and the all of the different monsters that are able to be fought with. There are a lot of weapons to choose from when hunting and each weapon has a different feel to how you can attack with it. It's a fun experience taking down new monsters for the first time.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purely bought this out of a sudden interest and curiosity around the hype of this. And let me say that all the hype was true. As a new player in the Monster Hunter series I must say that I was hesistant to play past titles as they weren't that friendly to new player. But, MH4U did an excellent job in introducing me to the mechanics of the game. Not only was I surprised on how easy it is to pick up but I was shocked at the vast amount of contents of this game. If you were like me and is over thinking on whether or not this is worth it I got one thing to tell you: "TREAT YOURSELF".

Fantastic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has a lot more than I would expect a handheld game to offer. The length of time this game has kept me entertained is great and I'm still playing solidly after 50 hours. The multiplayer is fun, the weapon variety is awesome, the monsters varied and challenging, and the game has a lot of humor intermixed. I'd definitely recommend it to any rpg/action fan with some time to spare.

Fantastic Addition to the Monster Hunter Series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate provides countless hours of content and fun, especially with the extra DLC the game keeps getting each month. For those who are new to the series, there is a very steep learning curve, so it may take some time to get a hang of the game. However, those who are returning to the series will be able to jump right in and have a blast with the game. Like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, you take on missions by the monster guild, where you do things like hunt down monsters, deliver eggs, or craft something using things you find. Online/local multiplayer hunts as well as explorations bring even more replay value and fun to an already great game! MH4U can be pretty challenging as you progress through the game, too, especially near the level 4 and 5 quests; personally, I love the challenge the game offers! The only downside i've had with this game is controlling the camera, as I have a 3DS XL and need to use the L button or the touch screen to move the camera. Those with the "New" 3DS XL should have an easier time, though, as the "New" 3DS XL has the c-stick that can be used for camera control. Overall, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a fantastic 3DS game. Any returning Monster Hunter fan will definitely appreciate MH4U, and newcomers are sure to have a blast after overcoming the steep learning curve the game has.
