I haven't had time to play the game yet, but this is a deal! I bought a second one just so I have someone to play it with me.

I've played a bit of Monster Hunter before but have never picked up a copy for myself. I decided to pick up Generations because I had a few friends that wanted me to play with them. I was not disappointed and do not regret my decision at all! At first, it starts of really slow with gathering and learning the weapons. Everything may seem complicated but once you go out on a few missions you start to learn the process even more. As you progress you find yourself fighting stronger monsters and learning their attack patterns! What I like most about this game is that you get to connect with other players around the world as well as your friends to enjoy the hunt a thon! It feels like a great accomplishment when you work together and successfully defeat a large monster Overall I recommend this game for people that like a challenge and enjoy time exploring the world and learning different moves and using different weapons!

This game could last you for a very long time and has amazing depth to it's gameplay. Even more fun when playing online.

I only have about 10 hours in so I haven't explored all the new stuff yet. I have experimented with the new styles some and think they add a nice bit of depth to the game.

Bought this for my 14 year old Niece and she really liked this game. She said 5 stars!

looks really good for a 3ds game and It didn't take long to get used to the controls

I've recently become a huge Monster Hunter fan and this entry doesn't disappoint! It's more of what makes Monster Hunter so great and has that extra refinement of new content/features to top it all off. If you like MH, then get this one also - you will not be disappointed :)

The graphics and game play are awesome! One of the best Monster Hunters series.

This was a great introduction to the Monster Hunter series. Great price, too.

Dozens of giant monsters to fight and run with uncountable armor and weapons to create means you will be playing this game for months and months. The online and local multiplayer runs smoothly and has been a great way to keep in touch with distant friends.

This is a very fun game with lots to do and a great gameplay. However the main real flaws is that it is a lot item grinding, there are a lot of menus that might confuse new players or some veterans, and quite difficult unless you learn the mechanics. So I recommend it if you like this type of game, but if you don't like investing a lot of time, then you should pass.

What a fun game, prepare to sink a lot of free time into their one.

This game is a pretty great addition to the monster hunter series. However, it is more or less the same game as all the others.

I am not the furthest into the game, but have been playing mostly with friends locally. The online and local multiplayer is incredibly smooth and easy to do. This game gives all the love of previous Monster Hunters (having played MH4U) and adds amazing new features to the game. I even convinced a couple friends to start after not playing other Monster Hunters, but have some experience with games like Dark Souls with similar (harder) battle mechanics. They also enjoy it and we look forward to group sessions each week. If you are curious about some differences, since it is hard to type out them all I recommend going to youtube for some weapon tutorials and see explanations and game play. The game is more than I could have asked for. Super great and lots of tutorials to help beginners.

The best part is its best monster hunter game out there. The only bad part is obviously it get little repetitive collecting parts for your gear. If you grind enough on mh4u you might get annoyed because it will be similar grinder

Good gift idea for friends or family who love Nintendo

Monster Hunter returns yet again. Packed with content, new fighting styles and even some extra bells and whistles. Not to mention maintaining its toughness while being the most approachable game in the series.

If you don't mind playing a game with consistent complex systems with a learning curve, superbly designed monsters, and multiplayer that can possibly trivialize the difficulty, then jump into this game.

If you liked MH4U, then you'll absolutely love this game. It's more streamlined and focuses on the things you love most. The new hunter arts are incredibly fun, and fit in surprisingly well.
