Bought it as a gift for my 12 year old brother since he was doing good in school and let me tell you, everytime i see him playing DS he's playing this game. It has been around a month since i got it for him and he says hes still not done with it even though he beat all the other monster hunter games in around 3 days

This is by far my favorite Monster Hunter Game! And for the price i paid for it, you cant do wrong! AMAZING!

This game does require time and patience for newcomers like myself, but it was worth the price of under $20.

Monster Hunter Generations lives up to it's name, as it features monsters and areas from previous generations and puts them into one large game. Monster Hunter Generations improves upon the latest games, but adds no new weapons, instead focuses on improving by adding characters, armours, weapons, and abilities.

Picked this up a while back. Then I picked up a second 3DS and another copy for my wife. This is an incredible game, and if you are looking for a great action-RPG for the 3DS, this is it. You will have to use Reddit and Kiranico, though, as the game fails to explain a few things (a lot of things).

Take what you know about Monster Hunter and perfect it in most of the ways you wish you could and that is what you have with Monster Hunter Generations. The best version of Monster Hunter on a handheld device. The only thing that could make it better are sweet HD graphics on a home console.

Great game that will keep you going for hours and hours if you like these kind of game.

If you have never played a Monster Hunter game, now is the time. Combining monsters, locations, characters, and features of all of the Monster Hunter titles, and loads of new material (including tons of free DLC), this is most certainly the best Monster Hunter yet.

I would say that the main games in the series are a bit better in quality. Personally, I find the Monster Hunter games harder to control with a small 3DS. However, I really enjoyed playing this game with my girlfriend for the duration that we played it. Got 30+ hours put into this one, but it did get a bit stale. Perhaps too repetitive and lacks interesting story.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Monster Hunter games. I've played the original on the PS2 played Freedom Unite on the PSP and Tri on the Wii. When I heard about Generations and all the cool new features Like finally being able to play as a felyne and the hunting styles, I just had to get a 3DS along with this game.(unfortunately they were sold out of the special Monster Hunter 3ds consoles, so I bought a normal red one) I currently have spent 308 hours playing the game and I've been having a blast despite the harder fights being very frustrating at times. I love the fact you can go to villages from the previous games like Kokoto and Pokkie and learning the new special attacks. I think some of the hunting styles could of use a bit more uniqueness the only one that felt the most unique is aerial (Wich became my personal favorite to use) all and all I'd say this is a must buy for any fan of the monster franchise.

I ended up buying 4 copies of this... My 4 boys all play this at the same time, so they all love it. It was really fun for all of them. 2 of my kids are 7 and 8, so they didn't get that far into it. My Teenagers spend 40+ hours on it and they can't get enough.

If you want a game with great graphics, depth, and one that doesn't just take 5 hours to beat, this is the one to buy. The "leveling up" system is great, there are countless modes and weapons to try and master, and awesome game play. Absolutely recommended!!!

Is a ok game difficult to play on a small screen. Fun multiplayer

This game lives up to the hype of all the previous games in the series. Even though they all follow the same pattern, they continue to build onto previous games and make it enjoyable. I already have around 120 hours of playtime and see no end in sight.

Great game. For fans of the series there are 4 new flagship monsters with new challenges and hunter arts. Top notch graphics. Hours of play. If you're a fan of the series, get it. If you never played, it's a great game to get into. Highly recommend.

This game is a "remix" of several different "maps" from all the MH games. It is also the easiest for newcomers. Whether or not it's better than 4 is debatable but their both a great experience. Honestly I tell my friends to just start here.

I've been playing Monster Hunter for a while now, and I love the new fighting styles that you can use with this game. It's still like almost any other Monster Hunter in the quests, but it has a whole new play-style that is quite fun!
