    I was excited to get into this game but I just can't do it. The controls feels extremely "clunky" and unrewarding. The beginning of the game gives you a tutorial that feels like it's *trying* to be overly complicated. The graphics look like a PS2 game running at 30 fps. The game-play is like a Dark Souls system done wrong. The attacks are soooo slow and you have to stop damaging for a little or dodge to change attack directions. You need to manually sheath your weapon to sprint or heal... it all just feels *bad*. The interface is like a bad Korean MMO. Sound effects and all. It's not all bad though. That grind to forge new weapons is fun. And the music is fantastic. Overall I was just hoping for much more from such a hyped franchise.

    Brought this originally because I had friends that were playing this since launch and decided to try it. Graphics are beautiful for a switch game and hunts are somewhat challenging if going solo which makes it pretty fun. Glad to have copped the game overall.
