Great game next in the series! Surprisingly plays well on the Switch. If you are a first timer, this is actually a great introductory game too.

It is a bit different from other MH games, somewhere between MH World and the original game. It has new mechanics and in addition you can take two different companions with different skills. It does push you towards multiplayer, which I'm not big on, but it isn't necessary. All in all, LOVE IT!

It's Monster Hunter. If you like Monster Hunter you'll like this. If you aren't familiar, the main goal is to hunt monster (obviously) and collect items from them as well as from the environment to make new items, weapons, and armor so that you can take on more powerful monsters.

I fell in love with MHW on ps4 and could not be disappointed with the new Switch version. The game play mechanics and grind is on par with MWH so if you enjoyed that game you will definitely enjoy RISE.

This is it. This is the game changing Monster Hunter for the Switch that you’ve wanted. This is our Monster Hunter World. Be warned though: it is hard. Monster Hunter is a very challenging and very rewarding game. Know what you are getting into before buying it.

Huge fan of the Monster Hunter Series. Haven't gotten too far into it, but so far I am pleased with it. Plays more like Monster Hunter Generations than Monster Hunter World. The new monster designs are fantastic, and the monster riding is pretty neat.

I love this game so much there’s so much to do and upgrade. I love that I can play this game anywhere in portable mode as well as get a bigger screen when connected to the dock at home. Worth every penny I highly recommend this Switch game!!

Abit difficult to get used to the controls and all the different styles, but overall a great addition to the franchise.

Got MHR for my brother sinxe I love MH games. Very glad he liked it. I recommend this game for everyone if you don't have a pc, xbox one, or ps4 to play MHW.

10/10 for fans of the series. Different than World in many ways for the better. Would recommend playing World first as the movement is much different but those who prefer the movement style of world may not be as excited about Rise's mechanics.

Fun game. Turn based. I had never played any games from the civilization series before. I am having fun so far.

I purchased Monster Hunter Rise for my son. He really enjoys this game and plays this game often.

First time I pre-ordered. And I must say it feels good! Played it for as long as I could on debut day! For the switch, it's more detailed than I thought it would be... especially after playing the demo. Screen name Punklorde. Happy hunting !

This was my first monster hunter game and I didn't like it that much. Great gameplay but short story mode.

This game takes a lot of quality of life changes and mechanics that made MH World successful in the West. On top of that, it goes back to the more conventional style of Monster Hunter, presentation-wise. Best of both worlds in my opinion!

My favorite monster hunter game yet. If you are not a fan of the series this game will not change thaf. However, if you are a fan you immediately see how wirebugs and palamutes were the missing puzzle pieces for a tremendous franchise.

Pretty sweet game, but I think it might be a bit too easy for people who've beaten World

New monster hunter game. New monsters. A little underwhelming of how short the non village quests are. I was hoping to grind some monsters with online players. Still had fun and amazing to see how well it runs on the switch.

Absolutely phenomenal game, but not for everyone. If you like grindy games with sick movement and really unique fights this is for you. Better with friends.
