I bought these headphones for use on a daily basis while at work. I work a typical 8-5 desk job, and I listen to music throughout most of the day while sitting at my desk. Pros: First off, these headphones sound fantastic. I have owned a set of the original Beats Studios since 2008 and these headphones have a much cleaner sound. The music is very crisp and really makes you feel like you are getting your moneys worth ($300). The headphones are also very sturdy and feel well made. They have a cool metal look and are aesthetically pleasing. I received many comments about how "cool" my new headphones were. Unlike the older Beats, these headphones will play music whether they have a battery or not. They do sound significantly better with a battery in them and the noise cancellation turned on, but they do work without a battery. Cons: These headphones are extremely uncomfortable. I have a big head (wear a size 7 3/4 fitted hat) and the headphones really squeezed my head tight. They are MUCH heavier than my old Beat Studios, and I have always thought that my Beats were heavy to begin with. After wearing for 2-3 hours at a time, I have to take the headphones off to give my head a break. It felt like you have a 2 pound weight just sitting on top of your head, which may not sound heavy, but after having them on for a long period of time, your head will become very fatigued. The earphones are also a very tight fit. They do not fit comfortably around my ears. There is a very nice leather padding on the earphones, but the inside is a hard plastic. Overall: I bought these headphones at the beginning of November and returned them in mid December. The sound is fantastic, and I really believe they have a much cleaner sound than Beats headphones will offer (I have owned a pair for 5+ years). However, these headphones were extremely uncomfortable, and I felt it was not worth keeping something that was so uncomfortable considering they were $300. If you have a smaller head, these headphones will probably be great for you, but, someone with a larger skull might run into the same problems that I did.

A good headphones with very good sound qualities. I like the carrying case to keep it safe while traveling. However, it is expense and would like to see it priced at least $100 or more cheaper. They are a little heavy as well.

They were nicer than beats I thought. Good quality feeling head phone. I bought them to run in and they do what I need them for. I don't think the sound quality is that great, and I am sure I could have gotten a less expensive pair. But I am satisfied. I did just purchase another set of beats so hopefully these are still better after using both.

    Sounded great, looked great, but...

Better than Beats Studio. But they leak just the same. They look great, they are very comfy. I loved the sound. When I turned my iPod all the way up, the bass was soooo thumping that it felt as if the earcups were bouncing of my ears. The trebles, mids, highs are decent. But they are tuned for bass lovers. Just don't think you can listen to your Lil Wayne song up on full volume during a family party. Because anyone within 30 feet of you would hear every word of the song. Check out my sound leakage review [http://youtu.be/3Gw5W-3cQkM].

    Break-in time

People complaining about sound quality should know that when you buy quality headphones you need to break them in for about 20 hours before listening. I'm about 10-15 hours in and they sound great. They have a great sound at just an average volume, but can go very high with zero distortion. If you're spending the bucks give these a whirl... but honestly leave them on at low volume overnight or something to give the drivers time to be broken in before you judge. I would be at 5 stars, but I am not at the proper time yet

    Amazing Headphone

I was looking for a solid alternative to Bose headphones (I don't really find the sound quality that impressive with aggressive music) I went to a Best Buy in my area and an associate showed me these. He explained that they are from the same people who made the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones but are brand new and aimed at a much larger listening audience. I popped them on and was blown away! the bass I wanted is there, but doesnt overpower like the Beats. the noise cancellation gives Bose a run for their money. seriously recomend for anyone who likes to travel.

    BUY MONSTER NOT "DR BEATS"

I got this headsets when they 1st came out and had a choice of a free replacable band representing your country. The sound quality is awesome. The Noice Cancelling doesnt impress me but does give the High, Mids and Bass a boost. Maybe its me, but they do feel loose around my head. Would of giving it a 5 star but decided to go with 4 due to a low humming after Noice Cancelling is turned to On when your volume is set at a low level. Over all Great Monster Headset.

Wow. I just upgraded from Beats Studio and these are far better. These make the beats feel cheap. Sound is much better and build quality is way better as well. Very crisp sound. Includes 3 cables, all of which are flat tangle-free style. Definitely would not hesitate to purchase again. They are on the upper end of the price spectrum, but they definitely are the best headphones I've used.

Comfort: These headphones are very comfortable and can be worn for hours in doors. Your ears may sweat after an hour or two, but they wont hurt. Price: The majority of the money you pay for these headphones go towards the brand, and durability. You can get way better sounding headphones for this amount of money and less. Sound: The sound quality was very disappointing. Everything sounded muddled and bunched together. The bass was not prevalent and instruments did not stand out. Prior to these, I owned the Beats Mixr's and they were far better, but less comfortable. I returned the inspirations for the Beyerdynamic DT-1350's, which are 10x better. I would not recommend these headphones to people who care that much about sound quality.
