We had quite a lightning storm awhile ago and I felt really secure in not unplugging my television because of having this surge protector. I did unplug the computer because I do not have it hooked up to a monster. I do plan on getting another one soon so that I have that same comfort level.

Very good power surge. I was like focused in purchasing another brand, but I saw the guarantee for $500,000 in damages per each one (I bought 2 units); I called the customer service and you will only need to register the same online. Keep the proof of purchase on file.

I have bought four of these over the years, this is my fifth, which I bought with my son's TV. Never lost any devices to power issues, and still using all of them, the oldest one for twelve years. A little pricey, but well worth it in the long run.

We lost 2 TVs during a lightning storm recently. It came in through our antenna. We got this to plug into our electricity and for our antenna too. This will hopefully keep it protected if we are gone during the day and a unexpected storm comes up.
