Haven't had any surges. Hope it works as well as the last one I bought. It last 5 years!!

I like that fact that you can mount the surge protector on the wall. It is very sturdy and also has the lights that show you the status. It was a little on the expensive side, however, I am using it to protect my new TV. It was worth the money.

I bought another one after this initial purchase. Easy set up, many outlets, and powerful surge protection! Great buy!

This thing is simple to use. One of my old ones requires one outlet to be used in order for all the othe outlets to operate. This one does not make you do that. The cable connectors are right next to each other for a simple in and out connection.

I needed more outlets for all the electronics. iPhone, iPad, alarm clock etc. This does the job. It even has 2 fast USB charging ports.

This is an awesome surge protector and the 2-usb ports are really convenient for charging phones and other devices.

I've never been disappointed with Monster products. The Power Platinum surge protector is no exception. I love the fact that it is fireproof (the ceramic element) and there is a coverage guarantee in such an instance. It has your standard 6 outlets plus a couple usb ports and is mountable. Yes, it is a little pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for. I recommend this strip for those who have higher end electronics and want to be sure they will be protected in case of a power surge.

It does its job. Haven't had any issues with it so I could tell you.

This is like buying insurance, you don't know how good it is until something bad happens. I have cable hooked into it as, not sure how it affects picture, need to do a comparison of a direct connection.

This is my third product from Monster. I had one "protect" my equipment and blew up- monster replaced it free with a newer model - which was 4 times the cost I paid for the one I had. Awesome factory

So I have learned my lesson--power strips are not all created equally. My old surge protector did nothing to stop the lightning damage to my electronics. Worse yet, even if it had, it uses technology for heat dissipation that could have started a fire! This surge protector hasn't stood up to the lightning test for me yet, and I hope it never will, but I have great faith in the manufacturer because of other Monster power products I have bought.

Today's smart TV come equipped with a variety of accessories and features that require additional power source to function correctly.
