Every salesman and Geek squad rep tell you something different. I was told this was needed for my Sonas sound bar, and it turned out not to be true. Will be returning to store.

was told that this is the cable i need, well it does not work any better then the 5 dollar one i was using on the old system

Not sure if these make a difference. Can't really see that there is a better picture with this cable.

I had to scrap these for the ones that came with the sound bar that I bought. They would not stay connected.

It broke quite easily. It started making scratchy sounds. Terrible

I bought this a s an upgrade for my Sonos Playbar. It was no upgrade. The end connectors were loos when I used this cable and my sound was horrible. I returned this cable for a different one.

I have tried a few types of optic cables, and this one exceeds all. Very crisp clean voices, and DTS surround sound effects. WOW! Outperforms even the Audioquest optic cable at 2 times the cost. Makes my LG Music Flow sound bar come alive. Really throws the surround sound..... that is how I explain it. Thank you Monster....

Not very long for tv that is wall mounted. Good quality

cable falls out every time bar is moved at all. not good

As I set up my new soundbar, i noticed the optical cable was no longer on the coffee table. MY NEW PUPPY WAS EATING IT! Long story short, I needed to replace the OEM cable and this was a perfect fit and sounds awesome.

Cable was easy to install once I figured the plastic caps on the cable. Poor instructions never used a optical before. Works great and elimates need for hdmi play though of the sound system , just plug and what ever is on the tv plays through stereo. May be a bit more expensive than what is really needed

Monster cable is very well constructed and I can't see one for twice the price being any better

Bought this cable on a 1 day deal for $16 because review averages were 4.6 out 240+ reviews. For the price it couldn't be beat! The cable seems solid and was easy plug and play set up on my Onkyo receiver.

Cables appear to be working just fine. Haven't noticed a big difference in sound quality. However I did have monster cables prior. They just stopped working.
