What a great addition to an already great product was truly an awesome deal i went in for a new prepaid ATT phone and was informed they have not received any in a few weeks no explanation however, the tech at best buy was super friendly and helpful and let me know i could purchase an unlocked phone of my choice and simply insert my SIM card super fast and friendly service i get home to register and find i have a year free of Geek Squad this deal just got sweeter Thanks guys

Bought this to make sure the phone was covered, just in case. Just before the end of the contract my son lent the phone to a friend to take a picture and the friend dropped it and cracked the screen. Went and talked with Geek Squad and was given the option of just replacing the screen or getting a new phone. Due to the time frame since purchase we decided to get the new phone instead of just replacing the screen. The price difference between the options made that our best option.

My phone got permanently damaged the first time geek squad. Customer service was excellent and they replaced me with a new phone. The second time around my phone has dysfunction with cellular data. Geek squad team were able to troubleshoot my phone and got it back up and running right in front of my eyes with a few minutes.

At the time of purchase, the service was presented as coverage for any electronic device in the customer's possession. Since then, the range of covered items has been reduced. This customer declined to continue the service based on price and coverage. Nonetheless, the service has been automatically renewed. Its benefit to this customer is not a good value for the price.

This protection plan was finally honored, but it took multiple phone calls and store visits. People on phone said store had to handle. Store said people on phone had to handle it. Finally got customer service on phone with customer service in store. Phone center cannot call store directly and store cannot call them. Took WAY TOO MUCH TIME. I had to take time from work for phone calls and daughter had to drive over an hour to be in store after multiple previous trips to store. They finally honored the plan amd got a free upgrade aa by then there was no replacement for damaged phone.

I was thankful that Best Buy offers this option but I was told for a few dollars more, I could add Theft and Lost and Stollen each month but after calling Geek Squad, the customer service representative I spoke to over the phone said that the employees I spoke to at Best Buy when I purchased it in the store were wrong and that for the phone I purchased, it didn't allow you to get that extra coverage. So was pretty let down about that because if my phone gets lost or stolen, I'm out $1,200. I just wish that Best Buy would educate their employees as well as Geek Squad the same so that these issues wouldn't be an issue and that everyone had the same advice and knowledge to give. I know how important protecting your purchase is, especially when you spend over $1k so it was definitely a huge let down to know that the option I was told was available actually wasn't.

I purchased a new unlocked Moto G 5G to use with Helium Mobile mapping. I have never set up a unlocked phone or any phone from scratch and purchased a Geek Squad protection plan as a backup. I have used Geek Squad with my computer and was more than satisficed. Geek Squad will always be my backup plan.

Got this for my cell phone. I'd had a Moto G and loved it but it got full and so I wanted another with more memory and features. Got the Moto G7 Plus and love it! Added additional memory and it is better than the second highest phone they had. Battery lasts forever! Can go for a week, sometimes two before having to charge. Tons of memory. The camera is great front and back. Sound quality perfect. Easy to use and is just a real workhorse. But as much as it cost it was well worth getting the extended warranty, just in case even if just for peace of mind.

I liked my Pixel 3, and I like this Pixel too. I know it's probably operator error, but there are some functions that aren't that user friendly, (having to push (2) buttons at the same time to turn on/off) at least to me.

From what was originally going to be changing the battery of my old phone, it turned into getting the phone replaced. Luckily it was still under the 2 year protection plan when I sent down there. I previously had the Moto G Stylus 5g 2021 (256gb). I got it replaced with the Moto G Stylus 5g 2023 (256gb). Didn't have to pay anything for it and I love my new phone!

Bought a OnePlus 9 pro a year ago. In one trip the screen stayed in in my backpack, overheating it to extreme then I dropped it in my hotel, cracking it badly. Kept it for a few months until it was basically a pocket heater with a AA battery powering it. Turned it into best buy and got enough for a new phone, a 500gb SD card, and 2 years protection. Would use again

Didn't realize that I had to pay about 70$ to replace my $300 Moto Stylus and that doesn't include the initial $70 I paid for the protection plan. The salesman was a bit misleading when I bought the warranty.
